Guest guest
Please begin to practice some White Hatha Yoga Valarie in addition to the Tibetans. - Pay attention(as you are doing) to your diet and keep on forgiving. These are little pre-activation clues that you are receiving, it will build but in its own time and in due course as you continue your practice and deepen into it. - vjvousden <vjvousden wrote: As I think we are encouraged to share our experiences, I wanted to share what I've had over the last 3 days. Physically, I've come out of the few aches I had. There was a weird bruised feeling under my rib cage in the front so that it even hurt to bend down to pick up something. That seems to have gone. I felt my kidneys swell and I have been drinking more water lately. As a good side effect, I seem to be losing a bit of weight (a good bit more to go). I did feel something in my back up to just above my hips. I have been craving fresh veg so have had lots of that. Pork and beef don't seem to appeal so much. Chicken is OK and I love fish. But veggies is what I've been enjoying most. Physically, I've had a few odd things happen. As I lay in bed thinking on the forgiveness issues and what I've learned from them, I had an off and on weightless feeling. I've had a need to strectch more lately. And as I sat watching a movie with my husband Weds. night, I got a tingling feeling in my hand and the closest thing I can compare the feeling to is restless leg syndrome but in my hands. That lasted about an hour then I got like butterflies-in-your-stomach feel when you're excited but again in my hands. A bit later I got the feeling someone was playing with the hair on top of my head. I have had that before but it was strong the last 2 nights. I felt like I had a freindly ghost playing with my hair. Tickled! And lastly, I had a dream 2 nights ago that must have been triggered by a forgiveness meditation. I dreamed that I ran into a guy I dated for a bit who did me really wrong. I meet him again and we say hello, then he pulls a knife and holds it to my throat. For a second, I feel fear but I fight it and instead feel love for him. I place my hand on his face and say, " Why would you do that? I love you " then I kiss him on the cheek. He puts down the knife and backs away. So I think I conquered something in that dream and I definitely think it stems from the forgiveness exercise. I've had some light-headedness, sort of not really here feeling. Definitely spacey these days. Focusing seems hard to do. And lethargy wants to set in but I can't let it. I'm a Mom. By the way, wow, Sarita! You are moving fast, girl! Question: besides the safeties, is there anything else I should be doing during the day when I'm not mediatating to help things move along? The breathing at more intervals? I do the tongue thing without even thinking about it. Always have, I just didn't realize it. What best keeps an open channel? Is that a safe thing to do? I'm sorry but when I get answers, that seems to always bring up more questions so I hope people don't mind all my questions. Thanks everyone. I'm enjoying this group very much. Multiple posts and all... Peace, Valarie
