Guest guest
Hello, group! As you may know, I'm pretty new here and came into this with some trepidation and hesitancy, needing to know more about what I was getting into. I have been doing a lot of reading about Kundalini (and praying)and have come to feel comfortable with what I understand it to be, and have surrendered to it with love and gratitude. I have been doing the Safeties for about two weeks and did the Tibetans yesterday for the first time. Whew! I used to be so limber when I was young...I was a gymnast and could twist myself into all sorts of positions! Not at 58! But I was able to do them without cramping into a writhing knot of pain, so I'm encouraged! That first Tibetan, though...I may have to use the alternate to that...it made me nauseated for a good hour! Anyway, last night was a dream-filled one! I had one dream this morning that I remembered well and feel may be related to the K; I would like to share it with you and get your feedback. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was in this ‘bath pavilion’ – like a vast bath house with a low ceiling. There were several shallow pools close together. I was lying on my back on the side of one of the pools. A whole bunch of men were cavorting boisterously in the water...it reminded me of a bunch of teenagers. They would splash around in the water then jettison from the water and flop up onto the poolside next to me like fish! It was so vigorous that I was afraid I would get crushed by them. Then I was in another room in the same building. I was again lying on my back talking to some people. Seems like my sister was one of them but I don’t remember. Then, snakes started literally coming out the woodwork and slithering across the walls toward the bath house area. They were all different colors—the colors of the chakras as depicted in the ‘Kundalini Awakening’ video I saw yesterday...deep aqua, green, yellow, purple, and deep fuscia. The larger snakes were flat...not fully round. They were moving toward the bath area. I said ‘Here they come!’ like it was a regular occurrence or ritual. A couple of small yellow snakes slithered across my body, giving me tingly chills. Then my Siamese cat (blue-eyed) jumped onto my chest and started swatting at one of the snakes that was near my neck/shoulder area. I was afraid of getting swatted in the face. I awoke. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have had no discernable K symptoms except perhaps some tingling in my feet when I meditate doing the locks. Perhaps something is happening but showing no obvious symptoms. I would like to know if anyone sees any significance in this dream relative to K, and if I am making any progress IYHO (in your humble/honest opinion). Thank you very much. You have no idea how much I have gotten from reading your posts for the past month since I joined this loving group! The Vernal Equinox Shaktipat.......WOW......... Claudia P.S. I also added my photo to the Members album. ______________________________\ ____ TV dinner still cooling? Guest guest
Hi, Claudia, and everyone. It's funny how snakes ARE showing up in dreams in one form or another. I had one recently where I saw a snake skeleton in my front yard...yuck! That can't be good! But others as well, what few dreams I'm having these days. Were the pools in the bathhouse in a line like the chakras up the spine? It sounds like it is related but I'm new like you and don't feel qualified to say. I can only say what it sounds like to me. I've not had any new things happening for a bit. The odd warm tingling in my hands, the tingling, moving feeling in my back only up to about my shoulders and the tingling, tickling on top of my head. My hands seem to feel the slightest thing, especially when I first start the finger lock. It's immediate. I've done the Tibetans as well and the odd Hatha Yoga pose though the Tibetans tire me sufficiently that I don't really feel like doing more. The tightening, pulsating feeling along my back is going on now. It often does something when I read these posts. I think it's funny. I'm glad you've come to terms with continuing this process. I have, too. Come what may. I'll go with it. I really do want to touch the face of God, so to speak. And be a light to the world in whatever way I'm able. So, good for you. Sorry I missed the Shakti Pat! When will there be another? I'll see if I can find a decent photo of myself. I'm rarely in photos, I'm usually the one taking the family picture so I'm not in them. On the other hand, I'm not photogenic and shy of camera's myself so may have to have someone take a shot. I loved seeing the faces in the photo album. I felt connectedness. Blessings to everyone, Valarie P.S. I adore Siamese cats! Have had 2 in my life and they were so like kids to me! One lived to be almost 20 y/o. I'm looking for 2 kittens now so hope to find 2 little Siamese or mixes. So cute! , Claudia Lambright <newtfoodbowl wrote: > > Hello, group! > > As you may know, I'm pretty new here and came into > this with some trepidation and hesitancy, needing to > know more about what I was getting into. Guest guest
Hi Claudia I have to do the alternates for the Tibetans due to the depression I had, and all of the medications that I was prescribed for panic attacks and the SSRI's caused me a lot of weight gain. The part I like best about the Tibetans is the spinning number 1. After I do that I feel a sense of joy, and I feel like laughing out loud. I don't attribute it to age but current physical condition. At any age where flexibility is diminished due to lack of exercise would be just as hard. I know you will succeed. You have to concentration to go through all of the steps to get OB, and have success, so you are a very strong willed person. Love and Light Stephen O. Guest guest
Hi Claudia, I wouls say that was a definite K-dream, water, the back, the snakes, the cat. Sure sounds like k to me. The Cat represents female sexuality. (if you are a cat lover which I assume you are). and as for symptoms, they can take some time to become more pronounced, it was a good three months after my first shaktipat that I even felt a vibration, I felt nothing but had many vivid dreams and emotional unblocking. Well done and keep on , with much love and many blessings Elektra x x x --- Claudia Lambright <newtfoodbowl wrote: > Hello, group! > > As you may know, I'm pretty new here and came into > this with some trepidation and hesitancy, needing to > know more about what I was getting into.
