Guest guest
I went for a walk in our beautiful Chagrin Reservation today, doing my deep breathing and talking to the Divine as well as asking for a sign, as to validate my path. Moments later, I stopped in my tracks and stared at a large slate-gray snake that wrapped itself on a tree. Half of its body already started to move into the tree. She was a big girl, as thick as a banana and about 20 inches long. I laughed and tickled her tail with a little stick. I wanted to make sure she was real and not a 'vision'. I wasn't afraid, just enchanted with seeing a snake in northeast ohio. I looked up snake species, and concluded that it was a lake erie water snake, but these snakes usually reside on the lake islands. It's strange to see her inland like this. They are also soon to be in the endangered list. I thought I would share my K friend SSSS
Guest guest
That is so cool Lisa, I love snakes especially real ones!!! She really sounds beautiful, I've never seen a slate grey snake before, usually green ones or black ones. You are so lucky to live near such wonderful nature.
