One of the interesting elements of your dream , at least for me, is the up and

down aspects. This was the " allowed " mode of travel. (hint hint) You were not

allowed to go out through the window or walls or whatever. I would suggest that

you look at your ability to become conscious during the dream state. A lucid

dream it isn't that difficult and allows much more freedom and understanding.

In this scenario, I feel there is some " housecleaning " to be done and that a

heads up is being given. Your lack of control over your environment and your

fear based upon that lack of the little (i) control is what can often fuel the

fear. Soon you will be able to awaken from the dream and then go right back to

sleep and back into the same dream and make your changes. I also had these

anxiety dreams early in my process and it can seem very powerful.

An activation of the second chakra leading to an adrenaline rush (even during

sleep) can also trigger some fear responses. This is to be expected in the early

stages so no worries and practice becoming Lucid by seeding your dreams with a

focused and repeated internal command to become awake inside the dream. Phrase

it how you wish but keep doing it until you have success.

Nice post and keep on applying the safeties as they will loosen some issues

and bring them to the surface in your dream life - blessings Valarie - chrism
