Guest guest
Hi there, My wonderful uncle has cancer. When he got checked out for recurring headaches[ maybe 2 or 3 months ago], they found out he had a brain tumor. They removed the tumor [the size of a golf ball], from one side of his brain about 2 months ago. Since then, they've conducted two or three more surgeries and his health was on the brink for quite a while, but he made it through. He's only whispering now, and walks slowly, with a walker. I feel so bad for him. Thank God he's able to at least function that well. I just heard this evening that it has spread, and he just received a 5 hour procedure, and is on medication to kill the surviving cancer. I also heard that he received reiki treatment. I love this uncle - when I was growing up, I used to wish he was my father. He was always so kind and gentle, and a good and loving father to his three children, and is an Episcopal priest. His name is Dennis Warner. I would be ever so grateful for any prayers and energy that anyone would please send him. Thank you all so very much. XOXO, Tara Don't pick lemons. See all the new 2007 cars at Autos. Guest guest
Hello, I just want to share with you that I had a different kind of cancer twice and was immobile doe to a severe fracture of an ankle and eventually used a walker on the way back to recovery. And am a sub deacon in the Episcopal church and am 61. Although my situations dio not totally reflect those of your Uncle, I found the times I was less able to do my " normal " things of great use for spiritual reflection and growth. I and we all know that death is inevitable and as I get older there are some differences in what I can do. But always my faith and joy in God (or K or whatever you might like to lable it) has remained and grown. I suspect that your Uncle, as a priest, has some of the same attitudes. Often my family's upset was the worst of my experiences. Reiki and other types of healing energy was wonderful as was loved ones simply being with me and loving me. If you are able to offer him a non judgmental ear to listen to his process, physically, emotionally and spiritually, that would be wonderful too. I would not trade those times for anything as I moved forward in understanding very fast. Feel free to share whatever seems right about this email with your Uncle and I also would be happy to talk top him or correspond by email if he is able or interested. And can send healing in very concentrated form to him, if he says that is what he wants. The healing goes where it is needed and may not be physical and could possibly be only there to give him strength and spiritual company as he goes through this process. I sometimes " walk along side " people in his situation and it is a very high honor. If he wishes that please let me know his permission. Guest guest
Your Uncle is a lucky man to have someone with an expansive heart like yours to send love during this difficult time. His spirit has touched many because of his gentle nature, and for this, with our assistance the universe will reward him. , tara jacoby <tjmassage7777 wrote: > > Hi there, > My wonderful uncle has cancer.
