Guest guest
It's a constant aching pain all across my lower back; when I move, it sends piercing pains mainly to the spot on the right side of my spine that I mentioned in my post. This isn't the first time I've had back pain like this...it happens when I do a movement that puts my back in an unusual position, like a new exercise or a physical activity that strains the back. I feel sure that it is from the Tibetans, which involve stretching the spine first one way then the other extreme; the fifth Tibetan is probably the culprit, and the third one also involves arching the back AND leaning back, which puts all the weight on the lower back and the legs. Also, the second one involves a dead lift of the legs, which I would not normally do (except as part of the practices) because it strains the lower back. So, are you saying that you want me to do the stretches you gave Katherine while my back is still in pain? And shouldn't I stop the Tibetans till my back is better? Or, is it OK to do just some of them, like the first one (spinning) and perhaps the fourth one?
