Guest guest
As you may well know, I have been up and down lately emotionally, probably due to the fungus, the withdrawals from having given up so many things recently and the fact I was resisting Shakti's wishes for me (naughty Elektra). I have been feeling much better since I decided to just surrender and learn the lessons of self mastery and will power. Then, last night I had a wonderful dream but I'll give you some background info first. When I was a young girl I had a real life guardian angel called Dorothy Daniels, 86 years old when I was 10, I called her gran and she adopted me as her own. I didn't have much love and support as a child, my family and extended family were all so bitchy and childish and selfish, always critisising each other and me in particular. Granny Daniels was the only love I recieved and she always told me I was wonderful and talented, she just let me be and showered me with unconditional love. She was my mentor and my teacher without her i wouldn't be the person I am today (tears are welling up just thinking about all she did for me). She was alive until all the children that visited her grew up and moved away. Then, she died in her sleep. I only found out in the last two years that after death she became my guardian angel in spirit also. She was always " my angel " , in life and in death. That knowledge has just overwhelmed me and makes me feel so blessed and looked after. I spent the night with her in my dreams last night , she came to love and support me as she always did, and she brought two happy dogs that just jumped around and played joyfully. She gave me bread to eat and a warm loving feeling encompassed the dream. I felt like a child again, she came to let me know she was still there and that I could call on her for anything. She then left in an elevator that took her up. I was left sitting on the green grass with many people who had gathered, she had left food for us all and we all ate with a feeling of joy and gratitude. It was a wonderful dream and I cried my eyes out when I woke up. I cried as I realised that she had actually lived until I stopped visiting her at the age of 17, then she passed gently so she could continue looking after me from above. Hope you enjoyed this real life guardian angel story, much love Elektra x x x _________ Answers - Got a question? Someone out there knows the answer. Guest guest
What a wonderful story! Thank you, Elektra, for sharing with us. I think we all need such angels every once in a while. In fact I'd need none right now... Guest guest
Wow, Elektra, That's an amazing story!!! How wonderful, that you had you during those difficult times. I understand all about a difficult childhood, so I can really appreciate just how much she meant to you. What a blessing it is, that she's still here with you now. How wonderful!! It makes me think of my great grandmother, 'mom-mom'. I remember being just a small child, and going to visit her. I don't remember if she still had her legs then..I think she was holding me up to see out the window, but she may have been in her wheelchair. Anyway, she would say " Have you been a good girl? " No matter what, I always answered yes, because I would easily forget anything that happened days before, or even that day sometimes. She would say " Well..there's a little birdie who comes to this window, and tells me all it. He says you're not always nice to your brother. I asked her how the birdie knows me, lol , And she said he would fly to my house, for he knew where I lived, and he'd come back and tell her all the news. I asked her what he looks like, and she said he's a little blue bird, and he lands right on her window sill, and talks to her. Well, my great grandmother died before I turned 11, and I just noticed a few years ago [but didn't put it together until last year], that suddenly, my great uncle [her son] knows all of my news. He's sort of like a grandfather to me. He is very hard of hearing, so he wouldn't be able to overhear a conversation, still he knows all of my secrets. I sometimes wonder if she doesn't become that little bluebird at times, and see through my windows. I love stories about guardian angels, and such. They make me remember that there is more to this existence than what meets the eye. Thank you for your lovely story.
