Guest guest
I don't have an ipod, but imagine it's similar, someone with an Ipod want to jump in? On my Mp3 I move to voice memo, hit a button and can record my voice. I can listen to it on the mp3 or move it on to my computer just like a song track. Other Mp3 players I've seen have usually had this option. Look through your menu on your ipod and see if you have something like that. Cheers, bradly > Bradly, you memtioned this to me on Droxine's forum, about recording > with an ipod. Could you explain or direct me where to go to figure > out how to do that? Guest guest
Wow, I think I'll get an MP3 player!!! Would it allow you to record over existing sound, or is it more like a tape player, where you would hear only silence behind the voice? Guest guest
Hey Tara, The mp3 records like a tape recorder making a sound file. I think you could mix it with music in the background if you have the right program on your computer. I don't know about that... Someone else? If you're going to get that serious about it, you'll probably want to use a good microphone with your computer. Cheers, bradly > Wow, I think I'll get an MP3 player!!! Guest guest
Thank you so much Bradly, I was able to find the memo button and turn it on. Haha! I am so dense when it comes to these gadgets. I guess once you turn it on it begains recording. OK...I have put songs and stuff onto the ipod (which took me forever to figure out..Hehe), but I have not tried to take something on the ipod and put it onto the computer. Is it done the same way, by just plugging it in? :-) This should be a lot of fun when I get that part figured out. I can think of much that I can do with it. Cool! Guest guest
Yes, click and drag the file to the place you want it on the computer, just like clicking and dragging the songs onto the ipod or mp3. Same thing, your ipod or mp3 is just another little hard drive. I've been recording dreams like this for a while and recommend it to everyone. Advantages to writing them down of course, but for me more advantages in not turning on the lights and waking up fully! Have fun! bradly > Thank you so much Bradly, I was able to find the memo button and turn > it on. Haha! I am so dense when it comes to these gadgets. Guest guest
Oh, Bradly...I hate to be a pain and nuisance...but I didn't do any click and dragging with my ipod. All I did was upload my CD's and music files into the itunes program and just plugged in my ipod to the computer and it loaded them all on to it. Since it took stuff from the itunes library and loaded it into the ipod, I just thought maybe it would autmaticly take stuff off the ipod and put it into the itunes library. I guess I will give it a try and see if that works. Thanks again for helping me out with this.
