Guest guest
Paul, Before you start taking a lot of medications for your ear problem, try a neti pot. The osmotic process releases pressure from the fluids in the inner ear, and can be quite beneficial for inner ear ailments. If anything, it'll give your ENT a good cleaning (and, according to the kundalini yoga tradition, it will stimulate your third eye, which is just an added perk). Guest guest
Thanks Sel.. I will try that. By the way, I finally just got some raw honey as was suggested earlier. I " thought " that I had purchased some already, as it had the comb in it, but I'm sure it had been pasteurized. Anyway, I just got the raw stuff today and am trying it. I will try to find a neti pot also. Thanks so much... such seemingly simple things become major irritants sometimes... Blessings... Guest guest
The easiest explaination is for you to search www.google.com for it, but it is a pot (actually it looks like something you would water plants with lol) used to clean your nose. I've tried it once so far.. it's a little strange but not too bad. :-) Blessings... So far I have only used the regular wild flower stuff--I am sure it is pasteurized--but it still works fine with my allergies... Nest step is finding some cat hair honey for my pet allergies, LOL! Guest guest
Neti pot---I use it whenever I feel sinus problems coming on or when I've been out in a windy or dusty area. It takes getting used to but I haven't had anything like the sinus and respiratory problems I had before I started using it. It just cleans all the collected gunk from the day out of your mucus membranes, stuff you can't just blow out like pollutants, pollen, virus/germs. Washes them clean out. I highly recommend it as a natural way to keep your head/ sinuses (that includes eustatian tubes) clear. Guest guest
Hi Claudia When I was younger I worked with an East Indian guy. He used to take a cup of warm water and a straw. He used to draw the water into his nose through the straw. First he used to do one nostril and then the other. He told me this was to clear his sinuses. When every one around was suffering with colds and flue he never got sick. I think from hearing about the pot they are talking about would have the same effect. Love and Light; Stephen O. Guest guest
Yes, that sounds very much like the same process. Thanks, Stephen! A straw and a cup are a lot cheaper than a neti pot! LOL. Guest guest
Fun! I want to jump in here, too! My doctor had me mix a solution of salt and water, cup some of it in my hand, and snort it up into each nostril...of course one at a time, covering the other one up. And then blow it out when it felt right to do so. It flushed them out, and the salt did its job, too. hahaha felt like drowning in the ocean! Guest guest
I knew a person that used to use this method, but you don't need to buy a Neti Pot. All you need is a warm glass of water and a drinking straw. You place the straw in one nostril, block the other and drink the water through your nostril. Then you switch the straw to the other nostril and repeat the process.
