Guest guest
Ever since I became a member of this group, I have felt nothing but love and friendship. I see this group as my extended family so I would like to share an announcement with all of you. I live on a daily basis with Jesus Christ as my Savior. I live my life as a Christian and my husband and I try to raise our children in a Christian home. We have found a church down here in Florida that we love and we have been going to it for a while now. Soooo we both feel we are ready to publicly announce our commitment to our Lord God by being baptized. In a couple of weeks when my husband returns home from a business trip, he, my two sons, and I will be baptized together. We are being baptized as a family to represent unity and strength, and MOST importantly our commitment to God. This will represent the end to our old life and the beginning of a new spiritual one. The baptism will be held at the beach and we will be baptized in the ocean. I am so excited. I spoke with one of the Chaplains today and we will be setting a date when my husband comes home. I am very excited about our decision. I will keep you informed. As I said, I will let you know when. I love all of you! Take care until next time. Love, Katherine
Guest guest
That's wonderful Katherine! What a special experience to share as a family. I am born again, but never was baptized as an adult. Guest guest
Cool Katherine! It is super that you can do that as a whole complete family. My girls and I have been baptised together and it was a wonderful experience, even though a part of me was sad that my husband would not join us. Can't wait for you to inform us of the results. Guest guest
Hi Katherine, That sounds like a wonderful ceremony to do as a family. Also, remember to give thanks to the water, the ocean. To me , the act of being baptized in nature also signifies a love and deep appricitation of mother earth (being but an aspect of god anyhow). I am putting flowers in all your hair (energy flowers) , I see you all wearing flower crowns, roses. Hope you like flowers!!! Let me know what day and time so I can join with you in prayer, love and hugs Elektra x x x Katherine <katsam19 wrote: Ever since I became a member of this group, I have felt nothing but love and friendship. Guest guest
Thank you CC and that is wonderful that you and your girls were able to share the special celebration together. I know that it would have been nicer to have your husband join you and one day he just might. Maybe when he is ready you can be baptized again with him renewing your faith and commitment to God. I certainly will let you know when where and how. Smiles! Have a wonderful evening Linda! Love, Katherine crazycats711 <crazycats711 Wednesday, May 2, 2007 7:38:20 PM Re: Baptism Cool Katherine!
