Guest guest
Hi everyone I hope you are all doing well! I am doing fantastic. I just wanted to run something past all of you. Several times here lately in the last 3 or 4 weeks maybe longer I have been waking up in the middle of the night sweating horribly, sometimes I am just hot, but am so hot that I have to turn down the thermostat. During the day I am fine, with a little variation in temperature, but not much. I notice this happens when I do a lot of meditation, prayers, etc during that day than normal. I don't know if it is K related, or if it is something else. I am not sick, or at least I son't know I am if I am. Just need an opinion. Love, Katherine
Guest guest
Hello Katherine, Yes the sweats. Den Den and Selena pretty much hit the nail on the head with their responses. Sweating is a way of cleansing out the impurities dislodged from the body as it is changed or refined. This will go on for a time and then stop. Take it in stride. -

Guest guest
Thank you Stephen, and I can see why others would look at you and shiver! Smiles! I eat watermelon, but in the middle of the night? I do the breathing when I need to, except today in church (not appropriate), but like when I wake up sweating, apparently I have slept through the hot period and have awakened at the end of the episode. Nonetheless, when I do the breathing for both hot and cold, it does help a lot, but sometimes it doesn't help enough. One would think I was going through menopause, but I am not, everything is normal (hormones), they were checked in my last physical. I experience most of them at night, but today at church one would have been very comfortable, but I was very hot and had to gently fan myself with the bulletin. Smiles! The Spirit was stirring! Oh, yes! I just had to more or less grin and bare it! No nostril breathing in the middle of church! Smiles! Can you imagine the looks I would have gotten? Hee, Hee! Anyway, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with me and for the suggestions. Oh, yeah, if you are wearing sandals in Canada in the winter, I don't think you would be wearing anything here in Florida! Hee, Hee! Love, Katherine Stephen O. <stephen_1952 Sunday, May 6, 2007 2:43:00 PM Re: Sweats during the night--K related? Hi Kathrine I have the same think happening to me. I find when I wake up and I am on fire if I block my right nostril and breath only through my left it cools me down. Watermelon also helps me. I live in Canada and for the past 3 years I have been wearing sandals and a light jacket winter and summer. I'm comfortable but other who look at me start to shiver. Love and Blessings; Stephen O. Guest guest
Hi Katherine When I was going to church and had that problem I just leaned my head forward and put my hands in prayer position with the right gently touching my right nostril and my left closing the left and while I was there I decided to say a prayer while I was breathing through my left nostril. If I had of felt cold I would have done the opposite. Love and Blessings; Stephen O. Katherine Miller wrote: > > Thank you Stephen, and I can see why others would look at you and > shiver! Smiles! Guest guest
I have to make a correction I closed my right nostril. I have never felt cold only intense heat. If you have chills you breath through the right nostril. Sorry for the error Katherine. Love and Blessings Stephen O. Guest guest
Stephen, thanks for the correction, but it truly wasn't necessary! I knew what you meant because I do it when I need to either cool off or warm up! Today is warm up! I have been a bit chilly today and it is 84 degrees outside, muggy and very humid! Thank you though for sharing with me how to do it in church, it will be quite helpful the next time I experience it!
