Guest guest
Dear Claudia, Thanks for sharing this with us all, it helps alot, many people. We all have doubts and worries. I am not the best at meditation either, I used to put gentle music on and focus on listening to the sound, as I would listen my mind would clear. I too have much mind chatter, just the other day I was getting myself in to a right state!!! Sometimes people on the list read the odd sentance but don't realise how low or how angry or how crazy you really were at the time.... So, you are not the only one for sure. For the first 6 months I felt hardly anything, everyday I would watch the people coming and going , all with splendid syptoms etc. At first I wanted it for myself, but I quickly learnt to expect nothing, desire nothing, hope for nothing. The less I think about it the more things begin to move. A year into it and I don't have that many symptoms, I have vivid dreams, but I've always had them. Intuitions, which I've always had aswell. The odd energy day when a part of me will suddenly vibrate for an hour or so, then nothing again. The big vibes took at least 6 months-8 months before I felt anything. Infact, I have more to worry about as shakti is very strict with me, I can't slack off as much as I used to. So, keep on forgiving yourself, do it for yourself, don't expect anything exept hard personal work!!! For the gift is so sacred a little hard work is to be expected!!! Facing our doubts, our ego, our expectations, our fears. Thankyou for sharing your personal feelings, you are not alone, love Elektra x x x Answers - Got a question? Guest guest
Thank you, Claudia, for voicing what feels like a very natural part of the journey. I feel those things, too. In Christian terminology we would say, " We walk by faith, and not by sight. " We can't tell where we are by what we see (or don't see) because the terrain is unknown to us...a new place...the cocoon! So we trust. We have faith that everything is as it should be, that Shakti knows what she is doing, that our experience may be very different from those we are hearing about so we can't compare ourselves to them. In the meantime we extend love so that Shakti can work her magic; we forgive so that the blocks will be removed; we live the safeties so that the flow will be joyful. Much work to do! The things we long for, that we see manifesting in others, are there for us, too. In our perfect time. I believe this, so I walk by faith. A choice. We should kick the word discouragement out of our vocabulary! =] We are K people...full of promise and wonder because of the Gift that is given to us. No instant gratification on the Shakti Express! Those who are manifesting things now will have their times of quiet for the body to catch up, too...the plateaus that Chrism spoke about. Then we'll be there for them as we have a turn, showing the Express is traveling! We're all on board. And She is on Her Way. My take...I hope I'm not too far off the track! HUGZ! Love, dhyana Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. A beautiful word. Elektra, I loved what you wrote...especially below. Thank you. --- Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > For the first 6 months I felt hardly anything, > everyday I would watch the people coming and going , > all with splendid syptoms etc. At first I wanted it > for myself, but I quickly learnt to expect nothing, > desire nothing, hope for nothing. > The less I think about it the more things begin to > move.
