Guest guest
Hello to all, I have just joined up with this group and thought I should introduce myself. I hope this does not turn out too long! My name is Tom, I am from Ireland and I had a partial Kundalini awakening one year ago after using 'brainwave entrainment' software, one night. The next morning I could not walk - I had lost my balance and muscular co-ordination head to toe. It got worse and I was brought into hospital. As you can guess, the doctors were stumped and after exhausting all avenues of thought put it down to a viral infection (such are the limitations of the Western Medical model!). I had most of the classic symptoms of an awakening and, indeed, even met a native American spiritual guide in another reality who explained that I had been to the 8th? chakra of non-dualistic awareness, which was subsequently confirmed by a shaman friend of mine. I made a full recovery over a few months by diet, acupuncture and Qigong practice (and plenty of rest). Overall, the experience has had a deep effect on me spiritually, physically and emotionally and it was mostly to the good, although I have somewhat dropped back into the drudgery of daily life - three small children tend to do that sometimes! Meanwhile, my development seems to be humming along quietly in the background with occasional lucid and causal-type dreams. I continue with my Qigong practice and read extensively on varied subjects (it gets a little frenzied when I am reading 6 or 7 books at once and I have to rein myself in a bit). Of particlar interest to me at the moment, and all connected I am sure, are the increase of individuals having experiences like those I myself have had, the 'speeding-up' of life, recent global disasters and events, and indiginous cultures and religions prophecying doomsday/a period of global spiritual advancement and evolution (depending on your outlook, I suppose). Anyway, I continue to look for answers and hope to engage with like- minded, interesting people in this group. Cheers, Tom...
