Guest guest
Thank you, Claudia. He is not well. He hasn't gotten out of bed in three weeks. His skin has become extremely sensitive, and he has to take pain killers whenever the hospice nurses have to move him. My mom says that my aunt feels he doesn't have much time left here. My mom was trying not to cry when she told me. Since I had that dream or obe, (I'll forward it to you), I've been feeing at peace about it. My aunt says there are times when the look on his face is so peaceful, and he speaks in a distant, dream-like voice. Those times, he is especially sweet to her, and it makes her sad, because she feels him slipping away. I sent her some of my poems to bring warth and maybe a bit of cheer. Thanks for your prayerful thoughts, they are much appreciated. I hope he'll have an easy transition, and now that I feel more peaceful about it, I can break away from my sadness, and pray for an easy transition for my aunt and cousins, as well. His life has always been such a blessing, Claudia. I never once heard him curse or lose his temper. He taught his daughters to dance, from the time they were tiny tots. Even last year at my mom's wedding, he danced with them and they had so much fun. Everyone watches when the three of them get on the dance floor, because they have such light hearts and can be silly together. I hope they'll be alright when he leaves. I don't know what else I can do, besides pray. Thanks again. Love, Tara Claudia Lambright <newtfoodbowl wrote: Thank you, Tara! Guest guest
My intentions are for him to have whatever type of crossing will be the most valuable to him unless he simply wishes it to be easy and smooth. In my experience being with some who will son cross over is an honor and a very intimate experience. It is also an opportunity for me, each time, to remember to stay still, present to the other and to work with whatever emotions, memories and thoughts/fears I am currently experiencing about death. It is sort of like meditation where you watch what is going on in the mind and emotion and just let it go. Blessing on you and your family. I do not think anyone could wish to be remembered and described more loveingly than you have described your Uncle. He must be a wonderful spirit.
