Severe Headache--

I have a severe headache that is making me extremely nauseated. I tried

the putting thumbs in the corner of eyes and fingers on forehead and

vigorously shaking, helped for about 5 seconds. The pain forms almost a

triangle. If you put your thrumb and ring finger on one hand in the

corner of the eyes and you index finger and middle finger rest on

forehead right at brow line, that is where it hurts. Extreme pressure

in ears. I fasted all day yesterday, prayed and meditated, don't know

if this might be the cause. Never fully fasted before, never able to,

but I pushed myself through it. I took medicine this morning and it

doesn't seem to even budge the pain. Any suggestions? I feel very sick

from the pain.

Love,

Kat

Stay hydrated and eat some watermelon as much as you can. Keep your

eyes down (straight ahead as opposed to up) and dont do any of the

locks. Keep the tongue up though. No Tibetns either and no yoga. Just

allow your body to circulate the energy as it needs. This will not

last long. Let me know how it goes with you.-

I haven't been eating much today, a piece a cheese to be exact. I have been

drinking plenty, I think! Tongues up, but the rest aren't. Won't do anything

else for a few days. Going to the store to buy watermelon (BIG)! Thanks Chrism,

sorry to have bothered you, but it sort of scared me! A more detailed experience

in reply to Claudia and Dhyana. I don't think I have ever had a headache that

severe! Once again, thanks for your help! Will let you know what is going on.

Got to go, my headache is worsening again.

Katherine

That is exactly the way I used to be when I had a migraine headache. I

used to also see lights and spots in front of my eyes if they were open

or not.

I found a method where you press your fingers around on your scalp. When

you find a spot that makes your headache feel worse. You keep pressure

there and then release it quickly. I used to find lots of spots and

after I was finished my headache was very much lessened, and the nausea

was gone.

I don't know if it will work for your headache or not. Every one is

unique and if this headache is from activated k there are many other

here who are better qualified to give advice.

Some times it is good to get things checked out by a MD. Just don't tell

them about your K or any abilities you have. IE telepathy, obe,

clairvoyance, or such.

Love and Peace;

Hope you are feeling well again soon! As a migraine sufferer since I

was 12, I can fully sympathize with you.

Hello Katherine

we have a method in pranayam to relieve pressure in head, I will let u know

that pranayam called bhramari pranayam. I learnt various pranayam’s with books,

I am not expertise in yoga or pranayam so I advice u to talk with selena(yoga

expert in our grp) or chris before u attempt this.

Method:

with thumbs of ur hands plug in ears.

put index fingers on ur fore head.(with out disturbing 1st point)

middle fingers on ur eyelids-eyelashes (eyes closed pointing up as described

in safeties)

ring fingers on nose partially closing the glottis.

mouth closed(tongue up as described in safeties)

now inhale deeply with nose(with put disturbing the above said position)

exhale slowly through nose making Hmmmmm…. Sound.

Do this pranayam 21 repetitions 2 times / day.

Best wishes – shiva
