Guest guest
Hi there, I had a bad day yesterday with sick children, a resulting craggy wife, coupled with a busy day in work. I could feel the vibrations hitting me at home and it seems that I do not have the armour anymore to stop other people's negative moods affecting me. It is completely draining and last night was no exception. Anyway, without waffling on too much about my problems, I went to bed and concentrated on my 'third eye', which always gets really strong anytime I momentarily dwell on it (a burgeoning, pressured kind of feeling, almost like a giant boil on my forehead), whilst asking that I be shown something I need to know. Suddenly, I had a vivid flash of a bright colourful scene and I got such a fright that I almost jumped off the bed. It was like a technicolor picture of a train or a truck, with all the horns blaring and it was specifically in the back right hand section of my head (diagonally up behind my right ear). I could feel that section of my head almost humming afterwards. It was senseless to me and more than a little frightening. Perhaps if I had not reacted so quickly I might have been able to actually immerse myself in the experience. Such is life. Another thing I have noticed of late is that the darkness seems to waver in the bedroom when I am lying in bed. It is hard to describe but it is like someone is fiddling with the brightness button on the television, the room is slightly getting brighter and darker in surges. Of course, I cannot say this to the Mrs. as she already thinks I am quite mad. Since last night, I have had that annoying bubbling, tickling sensation of Qi on my left instep, kind of like ants crawling around inside your foot. It won't go away and is very disconcerting. Anyone out there have anything similar or have I finally gone into the padded, white room? ;-) Tom...
Guest guest
You're ok Tom! I have that same brightness thing in the dark at night. I close up the bedroom tight of any light and then I keep saying " Where is that light coming from! " Have you considered that the train might have been a vision of some kind? You may find out what it was about soon. I had a vision of an airplane ripped in half a few weeks ago and I did find out what that was all about. Thankfully nobody was injured! I have personally had problems in the past few months with negative vibes affecting me. Since my K started awakening I find negativity of any kind like nails on a chalkboard. It is especially difficult when it is someone in your own family. I think this is part of the " testing " we must go through, the forgiveness and recapitulations in the Safeties (have you read those yet?). Keep plugging along, you'll do fine! Guest guest
Hi Tom, This is in reply to feeling negative energy... I believe you will adjust to the sensitivity in time .(I could not go to Antique stores for awhile as I felt all this stuff from the old items and I do not even want to talk about hospitals.) In the mean time a simple technique is to sort of center yourself before entering a situation and intend a bubble of egg of protection around yourself, maybe doubling the protection under the feet, over the palms of your hands, at the crown and, maybe in your case, the 3ed eye area. The intend a mirrored (facing outward) surface to enclose the bubble which is to only let in neutral or positive energy. You will be able to put out whatever energy you wish and interact easily with others...just will not get zapped with negative stuff. The inside of the bubble can be whatever you like....frosty white energy, lighter than air energy with silver specks and pink warm energy are some of my favorites. You will have fun experimenting with what you want inside your bubble. When the bubble and mirroring are complete then go into your situation and see how it feels. Check once in awhile to see if an area of the bubble is thinner or missing and intend the protection back. For me it is fun and works very well. Love your description of you vivid image.... Guest guest
Thanks Sherri. I will give it a go. It sounds so easy and, hopefully, so effective. The sensitivity waxes and wanes and I am starting to realise it depends on how much reserves I have in the tank. If I have been doing a lot of Qigong practice and eating/resting well, I can take a lot without even noticing it. If I have drained things a bit, it hits me in waves and I recoil from the energy. In Chinese terms, I suppose my Wei Qi (body's outward defensive Qi - very close to the bubble description you gave) is down somewhat which allows other energies to affect me. Unfortunately, if I do a lot of Qigong work, it makes me even more sensitive to other energies so, as with everything, there is a middle road. Cheers, Tom... , kaliese wrote: > > Hi Tom, > > This is in reply to feeling negative energy... > > I believe you will adjust to the sensitivity in time .(I could not go to Antique stores for awhile as I felt all this stuff from the old items and I do not even want to talk about hospitals.) Guest guest
No worries Electra and no offence taken. When I was setting myself up on a few years ago I just got fed up trying to make up a name that seomone else hadn't taken. I tried about 20 different permutations and what I thought were original names e.g. where I live with a year of birth, and then came up with this. Some day I will have to change it, as it irks me sometimes (only slightly, let's not get carried away). :-) By the way, the name bigtom comes from the fact that I am 6'2 " , and the fact that there is a country Western singer in Ireland called that. So I sign all of the Christmas cards:, 'from Bigtom and the Mainliners' (his band!!).
