Guest guest
hi... i read recently that if the bee colonies are organic (no pesticides or antibiotics) and that if the bee is contained in a natural-sized cell (not commercial size) -that those colonies have had no losses. there are other stress factors as well such as the transportation of colonies over long distances that might account for the low immune systems and disappearance of those colonies. blessings! -steve f
Guest guest
Hi, Steve, and thanks for sharing this information...I have been so worried about the bees since I read of their demise. We usually have tons of bumble bees this time of year...this year, none. I am particularly worried about the theory that their disappearance could be caused by cell phones, because cell phones are ubiquitous and sure to remain that way... The only problem is...how many bee colonies are organic? I'd love to read this article if you would send me a link. In the meantime, I'll check out the internet and see if I can find it or other articles of this nature. Thanks for the glimmer of hope, Claudia --- " deepdance1 " <deepdance1 wrote: > hi... i read recently that if the bee colonies are > organic (no pesticides or antibiotics) and that > if the bee is contained in a natural-sized cell (not > commercial size) -that those colonies > have had no losses. there are other stress factors > as well such as the transportation of > colonies over long distances that might account for > the low immune systems and > disappearance of those colonies. > blessings! > -steve f > > ______________________________\ ____Get the toolbar and be alerted to new email wherever you're surfing. http://new.toolbar./toolbar/features/mail/index.php
