Guest guest
Hello to all of you! I have just recently set up a new album for us to post pictures of our kids if you would like to do so. I wanted all of you to meet my kids so that you know why I enjoy being a mother! My oldest one Sam, 14 years old, is playing football for the very first time for the high school he attends. He is an introverted child and has always wanted to play a sport, especially football, for his school but hasn't had the courage. After my constant encouragement and reassuring him of his abilities he went out for the JV team and now is a member of the football team. My youngest one Joshua, 12 years old, is trying on a costume that I just recently made him for a school program. The sixth graders are putting on a show " Living Biography " on May 17. They had to choose a person who has made a difference in the world and so Josh chose to do Albert (Buxhoeveden) of Livonia (Germany) because he was named a Saint by a Pope because as a crusader he helped lead the pagans into Christianity. His character also built the first cathedral among other things. So instead of going out for Mother's Day I chose to stay home to complete his costume and battle my sewing machine because it didn't want to cooperate. I believe it got tired of sewing, I wonder why? Hummm, 8 pieces of garment. Not an easy task. Took me two weeks, but it was well worth it! Anyway, I wanted to share my boys with you! I hope you will want to share your children! Love, Katherine
Guest guest
Nice idea, Kat! Your boys are fine and handsome, and I see mine is not the only one who likes to wear his hair 'longer' than most, lol! I see the costume you were telling me that you were making for Josh...it looks GREAT! Good job! My Daniel is now in the gallery, too...he's 30 but still my 'little boy'...he lives in Athens, GA, where he works as a screenprinter, and he loves fishing and reading and Nascar! I look forward to seeing other members' children! Love, Claudia --- Katherine <katsam19 wrote: > Hello to all of you! Guest guest
Claudia, Thank you darling! They are good looking aren't they! Yeah, I think one reason why my oldest one wears his long is because he can hide behind it when he needs to. Josh wears his that way because Sam does. My sisters pick at them about having Jesus hair! I ask them what is wrong with being like Jesus, don't they want to be?! Hee, Hee! Great come back, huh! Who doesn't want to be like Him, he is GREAT! Anyway, they both need a haircut (trim). Now that Sam is playing football, he might want to cut it a little shorter than he usually does. Anyway, what a handsome boy you have! Your baby! Like you, mine will never not be my babies no matter how big they get! LOL!
