Often during a Kundalini awakening a person may find themselves

having spontaneous movements that can be as subtle as a light tremor

to as troubling as a grand mal seizure. These are an energetic

response from the body of an infusion of Kundalini energy upon the

body physical. It will resemble spasms and jerks of varying frequency

and may strike fear into the one experiencing this who isn't prepared

to be jerking and twitching their way around the house. Not to

mention loved ones.

These are called Kriyas. (Kriya from the Sanskrit, " action, deed,

effort " ) Kriyas are spontaneous movements resulting from the

awakening of Kundalini energy and its imposition upon the neural

pathways and meridians of the body. They will come and go and are not

to be feared. The frequency and heaviness of the kriyas will vary

from person to person. If you are at work they may wait until you

come home or come late at night or they may actually come at work as

embarrassing as this could be.

Please remember that Kundalini isn't just an effect of an energetic

release upon the body. It is an energetic intelligence. It is

conscious. It knows you better than you know you and if the kriyas

would be detrimental to you and your livelihood then it would most

likely pick another time. If your body is in need of this to occur

though - the kriyas will come regardless of your situation. Kundalini

has its own agenda and it is best to lay your agenda aside for the

time being and allow it to complete its initial process.

Not everyone has the kriyas. Much depends upon what the person brings

with them to this life regarding the physical acceptance of an

infusionary event. Some people are born to have this experience and

others receive it differently. No worries. We can all open to the

Kundalini but we must understand that we will have similar and unique

responses. The Kundalini potential is inside everyone. - blessings -
