Guest guest
The incremental repositioning and redefining of ourselves to sidestep grief and pain takes us further and further away from the pure essence of love and from that magic unfiltered spontaneity and innocence of life's first experiences. Dhyana, thank you for reminding me in such beautiful, heart-felt words. John. Dhyana wrote: Darkness calls to me, " Surrender to the pain. Surrender to the insecurity. Surrender to the isolation, the loneliness, the feelings of inadaquacy. " She pulls back the veil revealing all the times I swallowed the pain... not willing to let it overtake me, in order to move on, to survive. So much... Its there, each waiting for its turn to be lived and embraced. I see the line forming as the first comes and touches that place in my heart that hardened with the first blow. Shakti's strength flows through me, letting me know its okay...and that its time. I embrace the pain that has been buried for so long. It was born of Love...for if there had been no Love there would have been no hurt. I see each blow has a face, a dear face that was blind to the Love and struck out at it, thinking it something else...not understanding. So I cradle my head on Shakti's breast, and let her take away all that is not needed anymore. She makes me Lighter, more peaceful, freer, able to love deeply again. And I am grateful.
