Guest guest
No, not as a result of Kundalini per se. My opinion of the hell fires is that the person who dies then is opened to the larger picture and in the individuals response to the deeds the have done in life is where the torment comes from. As far as the fire aspect, death by burning has long been considered one of the more painful ways to die. The early church and others who would watch people being burned at the stake could see first hand how atrocious this was. So in order to keep control of the populations these analogies were dispensed to the populations ensuring, through fear, a control over individual conduct. Kundalini is more related to Holy Fire of God. This is different where the body isn't typically burned but if unsought will have some of the attributes of burning. It is also accompanied by revelations and glossolalia, visions, healing abilities etc. as well as other marks of an infusion. - my take - chrism novalees <Novalees wrote: Hello Chrism, I've been wondering about something and I would like your humble opinion. Kundalini Fire, when people aren't prepared and have the nightmarish experiences, do you think that may have been where the idea of " hell's fires " comes from? Where people burn in torment? Thanks. Guest guest
I like this sort of syncronicity! Just last night I was discussing this with my husband and wondering just that very question- " Is the burning of the kundalini related to the fires of hell? " . At the time I sort of thought it was, so today I sat down and quieted my mind to see what came up and this is some of what I got: Hell is often depicted as having fire as a result of fears relating to fire. Fire is known to cause pain and those who experience " hell " are there as a result of the contents of their mind; their beliefs. Experiencing, after death, the pain caused to another is depicted as hell in some systems of belief, and therefore is sometimes experienced as such by those taking part in this system. Basically it's the same thing just wrote. I was just surprised by the syncronicity of it and the answers coming from Chrism and my intuition. I was remembering meeting a man who had unleashed the kundalini through experimenting with yogic locks...the way he described the years of terrible heat certainly sounded like hell for him!! But it did pass, thankfully. Blessings, Jeannette , " chrism " <> wrote: > > > > No, not as a result of Kundalini per se.
