Guest guest
Kundalini is called many names and has many meanings. " Coil in/of the hair Of the beloved " being similar to " That Which is Coiled " or the " Three and a Half Coiled Serpent " there are many. Serpent Energy. Shakti. Holy Fire. Every culture has a dialogue with it as every person has its potential. Prana is different and is not in action or structure like that of Kundalini. It is more of an aspect of a polarized division of life force. Half of the equation. The sacred male half and can act as a precursor to Kundalini activation. IE Prana + Shakti = Kundalini activation. Or " As above, so below. " Or Man + Woman = child. In mentioning the aspect of how personal and private this experience can be we can consider the fact that we live in a society so we have interactions with others no matter how small or seemingly private they are felt to be, we still spill and leave our energetic signatures all over each other and the places we visit. And the devices shared by all of us that we use bear our unique energetic mark. Kundalini is indeed a private, behind your eyes, experience but it is also a shared experience as many have come to this area, now, though it is still somewhat rare in the general populations. It is a sticky energy and will cling to others and things. It gets shared. Awakenings and activations will continue to occur by virtue of this quality though a person in most cases needs to have a predilection for the phenomena to be engaged and an infusion to commence, It is happening more and more frequently. Signposts of the experience are available now and there are general guidelines of conduct that are beneficial to this experience. A person can still get into severe hardship though as this isn't widespread knowledge yet. Particularly those in the Yoga areas of expression. As we interact with others, at least here in the west, we will come into contact with people who are not inside this expression -most people - and it is here where problems can arise. This brings the private aspect into the public sector. There is a need for this process to be understood and recognized that those who are having this experience do not become isolated or chemically subdued or harmful to self or others because of fear. Yoga was created for the diffusion of the Kundalini. Patanjali who was one of the founders of yoga created some of his poses from the observation of a person or people going through the " Kriya " aspect of a Kundalini awakening. This would be a similar genesis for Kundalini Yoga. The asanas are too similar to be accidental. –

I have been interacting with a psychic message group and there are a number of people having symptoms of Kundalini. I have mentioned that I am awakening and have had a number of people ask me about it. I (of course) recommended that they join this group. I don't know if they will, but I gave some background on my experience and then suggested they come here. I guess you seem to be talking about in society though, which IS a sticky situation. A psychic group is more likely to be open to the K than your average Joe on the street. What do you suggest? Sarita
