Guest guest
Glen, you are certainly right about those who perpetrate harm on others...I, too, imagine how the young man who kiled my nephew and his best friend will feel when the veil is lifted (the veil of life in the physical plane where he currently feels NO remorse whatsoever for killing 2 people) and the full realization of what he has done hits him. My heart goes out to him for the suffering and anguish he will feel. " > > It is always this way. There is no good and bad, > no > > right or wrong – > > only the implications of ones choice. " So true. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Claudia --- novalees <Novalees wrote: > Dearest Glen, every time I see through your eyes I > feel things change in me. Guest guest
I agree i do it can just be so hard sometimes. Anyways i've been trying but other people tend to view it as making excuses for getting upset too easily. People i've met have always viewed my personality and my depression as me being a baby or making my self out to be a victum. They were parcially right but i dissagree. I was trying to confront my issues and my past and those who have hurt me. By them getting annoyed with me it was only causing me to repress those issues and pretend i was okay for there sake. I had a friend litterally tell me she doesn't want to be around me anymore because she was sick of hearing it. However i rarely/barely brought it up because i already knew she didn't want to hear it. Well i'm no longer friends with her because of it. I decided she was making me worse and putting me down for wanting to get better even though she wanted me to feel better too but as long as it didn't involve her. She also thought she had to make me better or something like that. Don't quite understand how she could of but all i wanted was a friend to talk to not a theropist or whatever she wanted to be to me. anyways that is just babbling right now. Point is it can be hard to forgive and forget and let go and trust again. I don't know what i have to do or how far yet i have to go but i do know i will get there when i get there. That the universe God, Goddess, spirit... everything will open doors close doors and i will find myself on the path or paths i need to be on. I realize that if i don't see the door i need open infront of me it is because i'm not ready to go through. Patience i have some for this but not for other things. I have been more confident and strong over the past 7 months. I intend to get stronger and more confident till i can turn around and see who i was and realize i should of tried harder a long time ago. I was weak making excuses alowing my past to control me, my pain to push me down. I have many more steps to take but i am ready for the challenges as they come...lol thanks for listening... Guest guest
Sometimes we have to make sacrifices and put ourselves in situations with those we care about but can't trust. I'll go out on a limb here... Like my husband he lies soo much never notices he is lieing. He's been getting better because i have been calling him on everything and he right away says he didn't mean it he meant something else. Like a child he would lie since i married him. Turns out before then i just didn't know until i married him. It's nothing major just things like dishes or laundry or our kids he forgot to tell them but he would just flat out say he did when he didn't and it was obvious. Say he entered in the amount for the check book two weeks later i realize we are way off and he lies and says he did put it in. I once had to call the bank on a misterious withdrawl after the bank paid us back i found a reciept for that amount. No reason to lie if you buy some food at a gas station. What do i look like a prison guard. It would get on my nerve to the point where i said if your going to continue this your going to have to leave. So now i have his attention and i really don't want stupid things to end our marriage because he is who he is. I don't trust him but if i want this to work out i have to try even though he honestly hasn't changed at all. Were going to be married 5 years this friday. Were both 25 years old with two kids. So yes i put my self in situations with people i can't trust but if i walked away from the masses who have hurt me then i'd be left alone. SO i do forgive but i don't seem to let it go. uhg!!! I end up harboring it so that there isn't an arguement or fight and there is so much more to it then the check book and lies i know that is just little things in a marriage but there is more. And with my X friend and her friends so i've found out. But my husband is still friends with my x-friends husband so it's all complicated and agrivating. I did forgive her but then she took everything out on my kids and hers didn't want them seeing each other uninvited my kids to her sons birthday party type of thing. Then started lieing to my husband and hers about me i freeked out. Yet i still have to deal with these people for my kids and my husbands sake. It's hard to trust and to forgive when you can't trust. If you turn your back will you get it in the back. No it's not like a murder or anything tragic and maybe if that was the case i would see things differently. I'd never wish that on anyone.... But i haven't yet learned how to let it go for good. Or if i should... Tiffany , " Glen Olah " <gleno wrote: > > Why does trust become an issue? Guest guest
Hi there. Good for you that you are trying! This is the first step. Also, you will realize that what others think of 'you' does not matter. You must be happy with yourself regardless of what others think of you. You are a beautiful person, just remember that! Guest guest
Hi Tiff! I can attest to the fact that you have come a long way. I've seen your progress over the past several months. Rome wasn't built in a day right? You WILL get there! You are here, that is a huge step right there.
