wow....your asking a lot here. I mean where do I start and if I tell

you that, then I am telling you all about me! We haven't even had

dinner yet! :D

Ok. Here's my story. I am a healer (in training to an extent). I have

worked in the holistic health industry for around 8 years or so. I

realized very early on that my passion is for energetic medicine and I

have studied that intensely for many years as well. Energy is not

something I am unfamiliar with.

My intuition is MUCH clearer. It no longer is a question of " if I can "

or the lack of trusting myself. Now I am certain and clear and

unafraid to say it as I see it so to speak. I trust my intuition much

more than ever before in my life. My connection with source is

powerful and it is through my heart. My heart chakra has been going

through a HUGE opening over the last year, when at times it feels as

though it is breaking so hard that I cannot bear the pain. All of us

sensitive folk have been going through major chakra adjustments this

last year because the earth is shifting at a rate that our bodies

cannot seem to keep up with. Thank fully I have a dear friend / old

teacher who is an intuitive healer / energy worker. I can call on her

when I am out of balance and she will make the adjustments to my

chakras as needed. My 5th, 6th and 7th have been big ones for me this

year.

My sensitivity to food is incredible. I have always been sensitive,

but now my body is no longer asking, it requires live whole foods that

are as close to unhampered as possible or else I get sick or have some

type of allergy issue.

One of the best things to have emerged very recently is my body's

desire to MOVE!! Once I received this information I didn't hesitate. I

got into a gym, got a trainer, and started moving a lot. Lately I have

been learning a lot about myself through movement.

To put all this in to a bit of perspective for you, I used to be a

serious smoker / coffee drinker / junk food addict......who's only

exercise was getting up to walk to my car to drive somewhere. I come

from a family with similar traits. So as you can imagine, quitting

these things and changing my patterns and addictions was no small

task. But I would receive the information about when to begin and it

was like nothing could stop me. I smoked from 14 till 27. I am vastly

approaching 31. That, I believe, was one of the first steps in

bringing me to that dream because I could feel how the smoking was

numbing my emotions and ability to feel. Then after that it was

coffee. That was after the dream though. Essentially my body wants rid

of all stimulants. I have been through many transformations. I am like

an onion, constantly emerging with a new layer. I can feel and have

always felt like I am on my way somewhere really big. Or at least what

my conscious deems as big.

These are just a few things that have happened. I mean recalling the

past year and what I have been through is no small task. If you knew

me well, you would be saying what all of my close friend's say which

is that they can't believe the transformation I have made. I went from

working at a health food store for six years to taking a serious leap

of faith and trusting my guidance and quitting in order to start my

own business. (that is one of the things my body was trying to tell me

last year at my birthday, by the way). Just recently I had my hair

cut. It was down to butt and now it is up to my shoulders. That was a

huge piece for me too because I could literally feel 2 1/2 years of

old energy sticking on me in my hair and I never realized it till I

had it cut. I'm not sure how I feel about the do itself, but what

matters to me right now is how free I feel. It's wild.

I have a friend who is a thirteenth generation herbalist. She lived in

India for many years with a guru there whose name escapes me. One day

when we were visiting, she recalled to me a dream she had that was

very powerful. I then felt it appropriate to share my dream with her

as it was powerful in a similar way. She said that what happened to

her in India with a guru was exactly what happened to me in my dream.

She called it shaktipat. She showed me a picture that was taken of her

and several other women with the guru while they were in this state.

THEN, that same weekend I met with my friend Lex and another friend to

celebrate Lex's birthday. At some point Lex tells me about a dream

group he is part of. I said that I thought that was interesting

because I have a lot of psychic dreams. He said like what? So again,

my dream comes up in a conversation. To my surprise Lex says the same

thing to me - that it sounds like I had shaktipat. So by this time I

was totally trippen out. I asked Lex to tell me what he knows about

it. Then several days later he tells me I should join this

and that I could learn more here.

I find it interesting that this dream comes up so much later and I had

no clue what it was about at the time. I found a book called energies

of transformation that is also opening my eyes to a lot.

Ok, so I told you that you were in for it. I hope everyone likes to

read. Cause I definitely like to write. haha

Love to you all.

Thank you Elyes for sharing with me the fruit of your experience. I

feel we have now dined together!

I will give you my take on your dream.

I feel that what you received was an anointing. A Chrismming. A point

in your journey that was and is a threshold event that will propel

one through the doorway into the next great experience(s). I feel

that since this dream you have been slowly but surely directed to the

Kundalini. That you have received activation for it to a degree I

feel is clear, yet a larger flow is available to be had by you " now "

in this present real time.

You received the liquid at your sixth chakra or upon the forehead as

you state and it spread all over from that point. This can be seen

and interpreted as a form of Shaktipat except that Shaktipat is

typically given from a consciousness to a consciousness or body to

body. The liquid can be seen as such but why would this be hidden in

the form of a liquid? The whole ceremonial feel of the event is

reminding me of what an anointing ceremony would be.

The liquid can be seen as an infusion to your astral body, and as

this is in contact with the physical certain aspects and intuitions

will come forth. Now you can seriously look at awakening the

Kundalini at your base and following its course through the physical

being. Marrying it to the chrismming (anointing) and all the other

bodies. - my take Elyes -

WOw, ok.... there's something. A few things actually. :D

So now some questions / comments...

I resonate with the concept that the experience I had some how groomed

me for an even larger awakening possibly the kundalini. This makes

sense to me as my life is as I said, ever shifting and transforming

and quickly to boot.

I am curious as to what you mean in regards to an annointing

(ceremony). I would like to know if you could elaborate on that, like

what exactly is an annointing AND I would like to know why you used

your name (chrism) in this context? Are they the same meaning?

Also, by what do you mean when you say that shaktipat needs to be from

consciousness to consciousness. Clearly you mean from person to

person, but why is that a must, or as you said typical? Like if it is

only typical, what are the other ways it can come? My herbalist friend

whom I told you about that had this experience, felt certain that I

have teachers in another existance who did this for me. That somewhat

resonated for me as well. Again, I am not resigned to any one idea.

Just trying to hear everyone and learn more. Some of the terminoligies

you are describing to me are relatively foreign. Also it is in my

nature to challenge thoughts and ideas because I feel that through

this process I can become more aware of my own truth.

Also, what does this mean " infusion to your astral body " ? Do you mean

my etheral body? Is this to say that my etheral body has been joined

with my physical body in some way? I can percieve this as a necessary

step to my process.

And finally, what exactly is the reason I should want my kundalini

awakened? Is this something that will happen naturally as this dream

did? Whats the story here? The benefits and so on.

Many blessings to you as well and thank you for the dialog.

@@ Chrismming is another term, for an anointing. I use chrism

because of my first name christopher and the initial of my last name

mitchell. But in the Christian belief systmes it means an annointing

as a way of initiation into a new life or experience here is the

Wikipedia version, please note I am not forcing the Christian belief

system into this only using this term as it applies to initiation -

" (Greek word literally meaning " an anointing " ), also

called " Myrrh (Myron), " " Holy Oil, " or " Consecrated Oil, " is a

consecrated oil used in the Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox

churches, in the Assyrian Church of the East, in the Old-Catholic

churches, and in Roman Catholic, Anglican and Lutheran churches in

the administration of certain sacraments and ecclesiastical

functions.

Pure or scented olive oil used by other Christian denominations,

although typically not called today, have been called Chrism

in the past. This includes oil used by Protestants and

Restorationists in some forms of Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of

the Sick and Feet washing. In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-

day Saints or Mormons, was historically used in some of their

temple ordinances.

Multiple early Christian documents discuss the " ordinance "

or " several ceremonies...explained in the Apostolical Constitutions "

of " chrism, " including documents by Theophilus and Tertullian. The

most detailed version of the practice is by Cyril of Jerusalem who

details how ointment or oil was " symbolically applied to thy

forehead, and thy other organs of sense " and that the " ears,

nostrils, and breast were each to be anointed. " Cyril states that

the " ointment is the seal of the covenants " of baptism and God's

promises to the Christian who is anointed. Cyril taught that

being " anointed with the oil [Chrism] of God " was the sign of a

Christian, and a physical representation of having the Gift of the

Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost), and it retains this meaning in Catholicism

and Orthodoxy today. "

@@ Yes I did write " typical " meaning to imply there are other ways.

I do not mean specifically from person to person. I mean

consciousness to consciousness. I do mean to imply that the body is

consciousness and or a collection of consciousness. Shaktpat is

given in different ways. It is also recieved in different formats.

Hands on a body from an awakened one to one not so. Standing in the

energetic radiance of one who is Kundalini active and depending on

your own ability to surrender and recieve will determine the level

of transference for you. Shaktipat from spiritual source also

occurs.

Though I do not feel that occurred with you. I have had this and it

goes on inside the normal waking experience. I do not put any

limitation upon what " can " occur I can only relate to you what I

know has occurred. An accident (car) can activate a person by

crushing the coxxyx and releasing the Kundalini, severe emotional

duress can activate a person. Drugs or entheogenic use of certain

plants and mushrooms, NDE's can act as a formulae for activation as

can what will be happening HERE on the twenty first. lol @@

Chris,

You are very sweet. Thank you for taking the time with me and my

questions. I can feel your passion for this subject matter and your

desire to educate and inform. I can recognize these qualities within

you as they match mine and my desires for the world. There is

something very familiar about you that I haven't put my finger on yet.

And for now I will rest in this new awareness. I need to digest and

absorb all that I have learned. Thank you again for your passion.

Clearly the world will and is a better place because of it and you.

It's funny Elyse, your reaction reminds me a lot of mine at the

beginning. It seemed every hour I had new questions and when the

energy started building in my tailbone and my body started humming I

said " What the heck is this!? " I was frightened of the implications

and some of the things I read on the internet fueled that.

I am happy to say that I quickly settled in and am no longer

apprehensive. All of us here are very lucky and blessed. To be

chosen to experience this, to have the benefit of each others'

knowledge and experiences, to have a gentle leader like to

guide us. There is no place like this and helps us to

experience this in a gentler way with the Safeties.

I'll bet that very soon you will feel at home too. Both inside

yourself and as a vital part of the group.

I have never heard of someone receiving dream time

shaktipat, wow, fascinating.

I don't mind your long posts at all, they are very

interesting to read.

Somethings need a long post , you can't explain in

depth otherwise :)

Elektra,

I recieved my first encounters with Shaktipat in dreamtime, although I

didn't know it was called this. That was in 2000. Another time in 2001 there

were two blissful nights, with the most beautiful angelic womans voice I had

ever heard in the wee hours of the dawns...she said... " you will have many nights

like these " .

I remember these in the wee hours of the night last night...when it began

happening within me again. Not as intense this time.
