Guest guest
Being like a child... this caught my eye. One of my all time favorite bands is the Moody Blues, I always felt they spoke to something higher that our material existence. Here's the lyrics from two of my favorite MB songs, brought to mind by the subject header. Sometimes these two have nearly brought tears to my eyes, out of my frustration with the world, and people's games and duplicity. One of the things that attracts me to Danni so very strongly is that she is not a game player and is just blunt, straight up, and honest. And she views things much more child-like. Not immature, but with honesty, clarity, curiosity, and sometimes wide eyed wonder. How much better the world would be if we all could again see the world through the eyes of a child... I feel this energy here, and I like it. Jon Eyes of a Child, part 1 Listen hear the sound The child awakes Wonder all around The child awakes Now in his life he never must be lost No thoughts must deceive him In life he must trust With the eyes of a child You must come out and see That your world's spinning 'round And through life you will be A small part Of a hope Of a love That exists In the eyes of a child you will see Earth falls far away New life awaits Time it has no day New life awaits Here is your dream and now how does it feel No words will go with you And now what is real? With the eyes of a child You must come out and see That your world's spinning 'round And through life you will be A small part Of a hope Of a love That exists In the eyes of a child you will see Eyes of a Child, part 2 I'm gonna sit and watch the web That you will build this day Will it be a thread of love you weave It's yours to show the way Then everything will be as you will see in the light In the eyes of the child You must come out and see That your world's spinning 'round And through life you will be A small part Of a hope Of a love That exists In the eyes of a child you will see In the eyes of the child You must come out and see... Guest guest
The Moody Blue's were my favorite band too. I listened to them when I was studying Eckankar in the 70's. It's funny, Eckankar discouraged persuing Kundalini - said it was dangerous and unnecessary. It took me 35 years to circle back around to it. Sometimes we definitely take the long road... Blessings all.. Paul >Jon Anderson <janders1957 > > >Re: Re: being like a child... and >perhaps another group song? >Fri, 01 Jun 2007 18:02:37 -0700 > >Being like a child... this caught my eye.
