Guest guest
About 18 years ago, I first started to learn to fly in my dreams. At first,it was the early stages of levitation. I recall that I had to concentrate a certain way and hold that concentration to stay above the ground. Later, as I became more adapt at holding that state of mind, I learned to move about. Now, after many years of developing this ability in my dreams, I can move about like superman. What is my point in this story? Well, it has been only recently that I have begun to wonder WHY I could fly. Just a thought! All the Best Bob
Guest guest
Hello Bob! I have always equated flying in dreams with an increase in spiritual growth. It has always worked that way with me. If I dream of levitation or flying I am going through spiritual increase. Hope that helps! Guest guest
Hi Sam and Sarita Thanks very much for your input, and thanks for the link Sam. I guess after reading Chrism's post on " Your Path " , I got to thinking about how easy it is to get caught up in the experience and forget where we are going. If your goal is to return to source, or use your awareness and abilities to serve mankind, it is so easy to get lost along the way. In the same way that it took me so many years to wonder why I was flying, we can get so lost in the experience of the kundalini and forget why we wanted the experience. Forget our original goal! For that matter, what is our goal in the first place? With increased awareness comes greater responsibility. I've gotten lost before so I guess this came to mind, or am I just rambling? Who knows? Guest guest
I think you are definately on to something Bob. Phenomena is nice and it lets us know something is happening BUT it is not the goal. We can get so caught up in the experiences and feel good stuff that we lose sight of the objective. Our ability to keep our eye on the ball will be rewarded with more and I think we have to be vigilant that we are not waylaid along the way. IMHO this is all part of the test to see what we are made of. Guest guest
I have always been able to fly in my dreams. Those dreams are usually lucid which means you are aware that you are dreaming and you can do anything you want in the dream. I still remember this really nice, long vivid dream I had like 10 yrs ago. What was so special about this dream was that I was so happy and the feeling of exillaration and restfull sleep I woke up with. I was working too much in that period of time and wasn't getting much sleep, actually I was tired, very tired. I was in those plastic play tubes that they have at Mc Donalds but these were huge and I wasn't sliding through them, I was flying. So much fun ,and I woke up so rested as if I've slept all day. And of course I was not alone, it came with play mates which I did not know in real life, lol .Maybe these kind of dreams are healing because you wake up so refreshed. Guest guest
Me too, Bob...like Nicole, when I'm lucky enough to have lucid dreams, I always like to fly! I find that, when I keep a dream journal, I tend to have lucid dreams more, too. Flying is also my favorite thing to do when I have out of body experiences!! Good for you!
