Guest guest
Hi All, I've been hanging around on this list for a while but until now haven't introduced myself. I live in Toronto and have been interested in awakening since I was a teenager in the 60's. Like many of my generation I learned to meditate when I was young and gained a glimpse of the greater unified field of reality that lies behind our daily lives. Just a glimpse though :-) Over the years I have done a variety of energy work (bet you've never heard that before). In the 80's I did Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and other internal arts. In the 90's I learned Reiki. Along with energy work I have delved into " spiritual " matters more or less along the Buddhist/Hindu axis though I realize that no philosophy holds a monopoly on what IS. Since last August or so I've been drawn to the Vedic devis Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati and enjoy doing appropriate mantras for the same. But I'm not really formally tied to any one school of thought. Talk to you later, Gary
