Guest guest
Paul, My husband has had to deal with professional transitions a lot over the last several years, which has drained him both mentally and physically. Since he is a scientist, he has been a bit reluctant about trusting his own spiritual gifts. However, he has also found much solace in spiritual practice, though initially he was very concerned about " losing it " , as he would put it. Each of us is different, of course, but you may find that the K is tremendously helpful when it comes to facing difficult situations. The very least it does is to lower the stress level by showing you things as they really are--you know, tearing the veil of maya and all that... ;-) IMHO, a spiritual awakening means adding more layers to " normal " consciousness. Some may get lost in the process, but most are tremendously empowered by it. Guest guest
Selena, I can not wait for the day when they confirm that science and God are related. You can say that Science is the heart of God. Every paranormal experience has a scienttfic explaination to it created by God. Everything is energy, energy never dies. I can go on about it, but I won't. ~ What type scientist is he? I am a science nut, I should of been a scientist myself :-) lisa ---- selena230 <selena230 wrote: > Paul, > > My husband has had to deal with professional transitions a lot over > the last several years, which has drained him both mentally and > physically. Guest guest
Hi Paul, My hubby is an applied physicist--well, he was till he changed profession. His view is that physics and metaphysics cannot, and should not, be mixed, because they tackle very different areas of reality. There is nothing in " serious " physics that can explain his shamanic journeys, and he has had to make his peace with it. sel

Look at the fact that we only use 10% of our brains. To me that's unacceptable :-P Look at the fact that science has dubbed our god-like genetics as 'junk DNA'. I praise your husband for making peace with it so far, that is a huge step in itself. I'll stop yapping, and I hope more journey's come for the both of you :-) peace! ---- selena230 <selena230 wrote: > Hi Paul, > > My hubby is an applied physicist--well, he was till he changed > profession. Guest guest
Hi Selena, Quantum Physics is starting to catch up with what Shamans have been saying for the last 10,000 years (although this is causing great upset for the more rigid-minded Physics boffins), with the observer not being separate from his environment, multiple levels of reality and an intelligence being shown by supposedly inanimate objects. There is also the theory that everything we see is purely an illusion held together by our collective will - i.e. mind is everything, which some experiments have correlated with, and which we all know ourselves anyway. I still think that Shamanic systems encompass our subjective realities a lot better though. I am glad to hear that your husband is following his heart. Good on him. Guest guest
Thank you Sel and thank you to all that replied. I may have over reacted, and perhaps that in itself means I have more work to do, I don't know. But thank you all. :-) Many Blessings. Guest guest
Paul, something just struck me. I think many of us have been having fear issues recently. Mine happened when I had that water monster dream and woke up to all those faces bending over me. Yours happened about the Shaktipat. Maybe someone else had it manifest in another area. I believe that these are tests that we need to pass to get to the next level. Sarita , paulrf2 wrote: > > > > -------------- Original message -------------- > Elektra Fire elektra.fire > Thank you Elektra and all the others that have encouraged me. The funny thing is, I was in the last Shaktipat. I really don't know why the thought of this one affected me - perhaps because I feel like I'm more aware of the K now, and it is finally sinking in that it is real. :-) It's strange how the mind works. I'm feeling more and more comfortable though, and I've REALLY been amazed at the wonderful people of this group. > Much love and blessings to all :-) > Paul
Guest guest
That may be, though it's not clear to me who is giving the tests. I seem to make most of my own problems. :-) I think of it like learning to swim. Before you start trying to learn, you hear many horror stores of people drowning, but as you learn and grow with your abilities, the fear disappears and the confidence in yourself builds. I just hope that my K abilities improve more quickly than my swimming. :-) Blessings to you, and I hope that you feel better...
