How we might affect our children

There has been discussion on this already, how we might affect our

families with our energy. The other night, my 2 year old started

crying at bedtime and wanted me to pick her up. When I did, she

started getting really upset, kicking and thrashing. She wanted me to

put her down and then when I did wanted to be held again. I had the

Golden Helmet going on at the time and no matter what I did, she was

unhappy.

So, how are we to deal with things such as this? When she is upset,

she only wants " Mama " . She will say " No Dada! " if my husband comes in

the room. (lol) How do you fix something when you are the problem??

I don't know Sarita, but they can be like that.I don't have a 2

yold but I have a 9y old and in the morning when I take her to

school she wants to hold my hand but then she doesn't want to

anymore.Maybe our skin feels too hot to them or something else.I

have not figured that out but your child is not the only one who

behaves that way so don't feel bad.

As I slept in my bed, I heard the rains come down around the house. I could

smell the fresh rain aroma sweeping through the windows. It felt blissful in a

way. I then opened my eyes and peered at a small being next to the bed, my heart

started to pound thinking 'they are here!', and the being said to me, " Mommy,

can I sleep with you? "

So the question is, how our children affect us. LOL.

Sarita,

don't try to fix it...just allow it to happen...this too shall pass. It

is passing with my grandchildren...most anyway. My daughter on the other

hand...now she went to the hospital last night with her right side in pain...had

been for three days i just found out. I asked her to practice the Safeties..she

is meditating...but I don't know if she is practicing the rest.

Her hubby had a migraine all last week...he is not a believer in any of

this...and so trying to teach him safeties isn't on his list of to-do's. The

kids are doing better now as they acclimate to what is taking place.

Nicole,

There is a bunch of negatives coming out of us...things that have needed

to be let go of. Children are very open and can sense this....their bodies tell

them what is there...not like they can read what it is exactly...just a feeling

as if it doesn't belong there (and it doesn't). They react to this...they don't

understand why it is so close to the surface of us.

As we move these things out one by one...and the pains leave and are let

go of...they will calm...and there will be a newer, deeper bond that will be

created. They don't understand the inner changes taking place. All will be

well when it is over...things will not go back to what they were...but they will

be better...all our relationships will be better because of this.

Yes Adina, I am trying hard to let it happen. It is so hard with the

little ones though. When she cries it is like someone is twisting

something inside me. When I am the source of more crying it is much

worse! It will be so much better when I can explain to her why I

can't pick her up at the moment.

How is your daughter doing now?

My daughter is still in much pain...she cannot lift her baby. i am taking care

of the 7 children and the household. Her husband has been having his own

problems as well. told me to haul water and chop wood...I am wondering

if this is the kind of thing he was talking about. I am going to ask the

healing group to help her. She is open...where I am not sure my brother is. We

haven't spoken in a few years...only because he is so very ill that he spends

time only with what he has to...work bed eat...that is his life now. He is the

only one I have not gone to stay with...and the only one who isn't healing yet.

But I have no way to get to NH where he lives. Thank you Sarita for your

concern. The kids are all doing great today...no more effects right now.
