Guest guest
That is really a cool idea and I am glad that it came to you to do! I hope it helps you remember and as for being in a " funk " . We all have had those days! As you continue to do the safeties and the practice you will find that you experience those kind of days less and less. I am proud of you for your progress and for taking the initiative to find something that might help you out. Let me know! I am always here for you! Love, Katherine tara jacoby <tjmassage7777 Sunday, June 17, 2007 5:07:33 PM Re: Re: Withdrawing from Shaktipat-Tara--(Gratitude Stone) Thanks so much Katherine and Stephen C.! I don't have a gratitude stone (or angel), but yesterday I went down to south street and China town( in Philadelphia) , were they have all the best charms and things of that nature. I've had a few visions of a bracelet I used to wear in a past life, and I felt like I had to have it back again. I went in search of whatever had the feel of that image. I wound up buying a fish charm which is said to symbolize energy, a circular jade charm for good luck, some tribal looking beads made from bone, and I pieced it all together on hemp string, and put some of the turquoise clusters that feel off my necklace on it. It looks really cool, kind of tribal, too. Anyway, when I put it on, it felt amazing. Maybe that will be my reminder, and my strength. I get in these funks where I feel selfish, and during those times, it is hard to conform my physicality to the non physical practices. I don't really understand why that is. Can anyone enlighten me, or if you've ever gone through the same thing, what did you do to get back on track? I would like to be the best blessing I can be- to everyone around me. I always strive to help others in every way that I can, using every opportunity that I get, and I find absolute joy in doing that. I want to try to perfect myself. Love and many, many thanks!!!!, c Tara Stephen AKA Master Condrey <stephencondrey@ alltel.net> wrote: Did I hear my name mentioned in vain? I went one step further than a gratitude stone-- I carry a " Gratitude Angel " in my pocket (a present given to me during my cancer battles). The verse; " In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you... " (1 Thes. 5:18)-- never made sense to me; but I did it anyway. Then one day I realized that the TRIALS in in life were the things that made me stronger (well, Duh!). Cancer survival drove that lesson home rather nicely. In the course of time I almost lost my wife, my life, my dignity, my reputation as a " decent guy " (no I didn't handle it so well at first). So, now that those painful lessons are a part of my past-- I am grateful--for everything. That kind of gratitude makes forgiveness a lot easier! Even when it comes to forgiving one's self. So fear not...all lessons are good! :) Stephen C. Kundalini-Awakening -Systems- 1 , Katherine Miller <katsam19@.. .> wrote: > > My dear friend, don't be afraid of your path! If you forget to do no worries! Find a way that helps you remember. Like Stephen C. and I do, carry a stone around with you to help you remember and it will become natural for you! As long as you take it slow and you do the best that you can do all will be fine. No one knows exactly what will be your experience, yet it will be beautiful and fulfilling my dear sister. We will always be here with you and for you! I was scared at first because of the unknown path, but know that you are a wonderful person and you will help others with your loving and compassionate nature. > > Love, > Katherine > > > > tara jacoby <tjmassage7777@ ...> > Kundalini-Awakening -Systems- 1 > Saturday, June 16, 2007 9:30:29 AM > Re: [Kundalini-Awakenin g-Systems- 1] Withdrawing from Shaktipat-Chrism > > Chrism, should I be scared? > What if I can't follow the safeties?
