Has anyone any solutions to sleep depravation???

Im finding myself so tired around 7pm every night, ready to sleep for

the night,I cant entertain this want due to homelife,so then I seem to

get extra energy and cant sleep until 2 or 3 sometimes 4am,even then

its only a half sleep, im back up again at 8am with kids, really tired

and then it starts all over again.

ANYONE?

I know what you mean!I can't get enough rest either.My 9 y old

daughter has ADHD and wakes everydody up at 6:30 am-7 even in the

weekend.I always feel like taking a nap around 4pm.Yesterday I went to

take a nap and as I was falling asleep I heard her coming into the

bedroom bringing the cat then I don't know what happened because I

woke up when the alarm went off one hour later.I did feel rested so I

must have fell asleep after all.

I think it is a phase you will go through with the K. There was a

point where I would fall asleep the moment I put my daughter to bed

even though I still had lots of work to do! There was a time I needed

about 9 hours a night, then it went down to 6-7 hours. Recently I need

about 8. My advice would be to make a way to get the sleep, there is

lots going on inside you right now.

That's how I have been feeling lately. I would be tired and sleepy by 5

or 6pm, wake up at 10pm to have dinner. Then I can't make myself fall

asleep after that. What I do is pray and meditate until I get really

sleepy. My day and night time seems to be reversed.

Boy, can I relate. I use melatonin for a non-prescription sleep-aid.

There is valerian and a few other things in combination at the health

food store. Melatonin usually gets me back on track.

My sleep pattern isn't off to the degree yours sounds like but I wake

from a night of sleep (usaully 6-8 hrs. sometimes less) but feel like

I've been cramming for college exams. That sort of jet-lagged or

sicky stomach feeling and fuzzy headed. Since the Scatterfield has

been in place, I've had a hard time going to sleep. I feel itchy,

restless legs and arms, mind won't shut down. So I've gotten to sleep

later than I should have a couple of nights. And my 5 y/o is up at

6:30 whether I've had enough sleep or not! So how I can sleep 6 to 8

hours and yet feel like I've had about 3 I don't know. I don't even

remember my dreams anymore. I guess I have them I'm just too tired to

remember them. And about 11am I get sleepy so bad my eyes close by

themselves, then again about 2pm. I-yi-yi! I wish I could just go on

a sleep holiday sometimes and sleep till I can't anymore!

Hope you find something that helps.

Blessings,

Yes, Karen, I can second this. Before I joined the K

group, I was astral projecting frequently (had gotten

up to twice a week last December) and I always induced

OBEs in the early morning hours. Would go to bed

around 10pm and wake up around 4-5 and attempt to

project. Those days are over now! I go to bed around

9 or 9:30 and, although I sleep for 2-3 hour periods

and wake up to pee (all the water I'm drinking!), I

have not been able to stay awake when I've tried to

project since March! I really need more sleep now.

It's a phase. I look forward to sleeping less and

perhaps even astral projecting again! But that's up

to Shakti...

My sleeping patterns have been (on average) fairly erratic. I recall a

few months ago that I was almost always intensely tired. I thought it

was entirely related to entity incursions draining my energies at the

time, although now I think it was probably a combination of entity

interactions plus k's work on the bio-energetic body. A kind of double

whammy.

Hi Valarie,

As for dreaming, I seem to dream a lot. Before the scatterfield, I had

some hard times remembering dreams. Now, I dream twice a day. I've

noticed, lately I've been dreaming about being elevated in an elevator

and a lot of wedding dreams.

Maybe it's a wedding preparation for the shaktipat. And I have finals

this week.

Hi, Anne. I think the elevator and the wedding dreams are good

signs. Yes, maybe to do with Shaktpat. A raising and a joining of

some kind. Good!

And good luck with exams. Bet you can't wait for them to be over!!!

Hugs,

Valarie

This happens to me at times as well. I sometimes wonder if this is emotional

drainage at 7pm, I can hardly keep my eyes open. I find that when I eat a very

light dinner, protein and veggies only, my endurance is much higher. My energy

levels are more balanced.

Another idea would be to try the 'Breath of Fire' breathing technique, this

gives your body an oxygen awakening, I got this from my Kundalini Yoga dvd.

Maybe I can find a description off the internet.

Do you exercise everyday, perhaps walk about 30-60 minutes? Another would be to

incorporate evening Yoga exercises to relax the body following with some

meditation to relax the mind.

These are just some ideas you can try if all else fails. Good Luck!
