Guest guest
Dear all, last night when I came home from work I did my usual which is reach into the fridge for the wine to poor myself a huge glass or to mix a gin and tonic. But, you know what - I put it back again because I didn't want it and settled for a cup of tea instead! Gill

Guest guest
Lately my living space has become less than tolerable. I live in an house converted into an apartment building that I've loved. Since December, however, the upstairs neighbor has started having night gatherings with alcohol, noise, etc. My attempts to talk with him have not resolved anything. also, my attempts to talk to my landlady have not resolved anything either & its gotten worse. so looks like its time to move. Since K started, quiet has become more and more important. I have become very sensitive to noise. Is this a common part of the journey? I've seen myself wanting to stay and get my way, force my way, and its been causing friction. Interesting that this should come up now. blessings, jan

Guest guest
Jan, For what it’s worth my experience has been that the Divine has in the past given me subtle indicators when it was time for me to move on in relationships, places I lived, work, etc. When I refuse to accept these gentle pushes to see that it was time the pressure would just keep increasing until eventually I did and do listen. I now have more of a tendency to rely on my intuition/higher self/inner guidance or ask for assistance to determine if and when I should heed the indications. I can see your dilemma, I can only tell you what I would have done before I surrendered to the truth that the Divine is directing my existence in the direction and manner that I am to go. Before I would have stubbornly refused to accept that I couldn’t stay where I believed I should be staying. I would have escalated the conflict to the point that what usually happened was that I’d be forced to move out by the Landlady for creating too much of a problem. Example, I was in a partnership with a former “friend” in a business. I knew that I should be moving on as the situation and the business no longer felt right but instead I felt uneasy and fearful about starting something new and unknown so I resisted change. Eventually what happened was that after a disagreement over the business the “friend”, on a weekend, had the locks on the building where the business was located changed and had all my personal stuff delivered to me early on Monday morning. You can’t be more stubborn than I was as the pushes and pressure were there for a long time and it couldn’t be more clear in retrospect that the Divine stepped in when I flat refused to listen. We all free will in our actions and decisions to a point. As we each are here for a general purpose and a unique purpose the point when the options we have available for exercising our free will is limited is when our actions and decisions begin to conflict with and become contrary to the accomplishment of our unique purpose. Then it is sometimes required that we be “pushed” toward the right decision. Even in the case of the business I could have continued to stay and fight but found it more beneficial to come to a mutual agreement, albeit at a loss to me, to wrap up my involvement in the business. Ultimately, after much more time passed and a lot of “mistakes in exercising of free will” it has led to the path that I am now on. Hope this helps by providing another avenue of contemplation as it is only my experience and to you it is only hearsay at best. Guest guest
Thanks Brother Asa, your reply was very helpful. i appreciate you sharing of your experiences. i have had subtle indicators before all this, little intuitive thoughts in addition to some outer happenings regarding moving. And making a practice of listening to those little intuitive nudges, asking for assistance sounds like a good idea so as to avoid the greater shoves. blessings, Jan , " Asa " <asa wrote: > > Jan, > > > > For what it's worth my experience has been that the Divine has in the past > given me subtle indicators when it was time for me to move on in > relationships, places I lived, work, etc. When I refuse to accept these > gentle pushes to see that it was time the pressure would just keep > increasing until eventually I did and do listen.
