I've read biographies of Gandhi, but I do not recall this situation.

In India as well as Thailand the temples display explicit sex on the

walls, and this is not considered offensive. This is part of the

heritage of Shakti. If I recall the incident correctly, Gandhi got

angry when a whole village was converted and the minister ordered the

temples destroyed.
