Guest guest
Yesterday I was about to go out for a walk. I needed to take care of some errands, and when I do that I almost always cut across the grass outside our apartment complex, and take the side road. Anyway, I got up and began pulling my things together to go. Suddenly I got this feeling..like I was supposed to stay put. So of course I listened to it, and a few minutes later I heard a horrible sound. It was close, and very loud. I got a picture in my mind of a car falling from up high, and landing on cement or pavement. I didn't want to see it, so I shook it off and told myself it was probably just a big truck going too fast and making a really loud sound as it bumps the main road. Well about an hour later, I decided to go ahead out. You wouldn't believe what I saw. On the grass I would've crossed, there was a car ON TOP of the brick 'island' where the apartment sign sits, along with some flowers. It was all banged up, and the drivers side door was very badly dented. There were car parts on the grass, and another car partially underneath the first one, but turned the opposite direction- as if they collided in the street while going too fast, and one flew up in the air landing on the sign..and the other, maybe being spun around until it landed just about under the first one. There were ambulances, fire trucks and police cars all over the place, and about 30 of my neighbors watching. I was fighting back tears, as I saw the paramedics loading an injured person into the ambulance on a stretcher. I was both angry and sad that the people watching seemed to be feeding their curiosity instead if praying for the injured. I didn't see all their faces, but it looked as though they were all just getting pleasure out of seeing ' a live show'. That made me so sad that I felt tears come to my eyes. I couldn't understand how anyone could be so cold. Any thoughts? Love and peace to you all, Tara Moody friends. Drama queens. Your life? Nope! - their life, your story. Play Sims Stories at Games. Guest guest
Hi Tara, I notice in your mails that you get very caught up in others emotions, I would say to you that people are entitled to their own way of reacting to stimulus, don't get upset at others for their emotions. Also, you never truely know how another person is feeling no matter what you pick up. So, try to develope a less attached and judgement based reaction to the people around you , I think it would bring you much energy. (IMHO) It's the lesson of non attachment. I am also trying to learn it : = P (It's a work in progress) Glad you are well, that was good going on your behalf. Big hug, Elektra x x x _________ Answers - Got a question? Guest guest
Thanks Elektra, It's true, I do need to learn that. I become very umm...'A.D.D.-LIKE' because I apparently allow others' emotions to pull me this way and that. I've never known how to separate myself, and at times when I've had the intuition to, I felt cold (like a heartless being) for wanting to distance myself from the emotions I feel emanating from those around me. I guess I've always felt as though I'm supposed to feel that, so that I can truly identify and love and comfort others. Ahh...but I no not how to shut off the switch. I shall work on that. One million thank yous for your help!!!
