Guest guest
Hello my brilliant lights, If you have a spare moment, will you please send a prayer out to my friend Genevieve? I am worried and sad for her. Several of the girls I work with have been talking about her falling back into a drug addiction. I didn't want to listen to gossip, so I heard it, felt sad for her if it was true, and then let it leave my mind. Suddenly I began thinking of her and feeling pain for her. to go through this. I decided to look it up on the internet, and what I saw brought me to tears. She has scars on her face and arms. She told me it was from poison ivy, but I was remembering sitting in the car with her (while we were on our way to cosmetics school), and asking her if she was using calamine lotion. She looked at me as though she had no clue what I was talking about. Then I asked her a couple other questions, because I remembered having poison ivy and I wanted to help if I could, since she looked pretty miserable. She looked a little hesitant. I didn't know why, and I wondered why she would be sleepy, poison ivy never made me sleepy before. Several of the girls I work with are going around talking about how she looks like she uses crystal meth. I just looked it up, and those marks are a sign. Her periods of exteme energy, and periods of extreme tire are others. I will never judge her, but I will pray that if this is true, she will stop. I just want to cry, and grab her and shake her, and tell her to stop hurting herself. Instead, I will pray. I will pray a lot. Please..will you send a prayer as well, if you can find the time? With much love and thanks, Tara Now that's room service! Choose from over 150,000 hotels in 45,000 destinations on Travel to find your fit. Guest guest
I will pray for your friend Tara. As someone who has witnessed drug abuse first hand, you and she have my sympathy. It is a hard road both for the drug seeker and those trying to support them. Guest guest
I will pray for her for sure, and heal my own mini addict at the same time. I have a theory on drug addiction, I think that some part of the human syche remembers a time when we felt bliss and divine love pouring through our bodies, so, we feel strange and as if a part of us is missing without this downpouring. This turns us towards the artificial bliss of drugs. An attempt on our behalf to feel kundalini or bliss (subconciously). Just a theory. Guest guest
Wow Elektra..that's deep! So what you're saying is..you feel that a person who is using drugs is doing so to fill a void, which was once filled with a good energy. The cause of that good energy could have been the wonderful rush of energy one might feel with Kundalini, or it could have been caused by a happiness with one's situation in life. So when that feeling leaves, that person may feel the need to 'get it back' with caffeine or drugs or sex or the thrill of stealing. Hmmm...makes sense to me. I wonder what void my little Genevieve is trying to fill. I have a feeling that she is filling the void in which love and comfort lived when she was a child..which has been gone for years, as her parents both seem to be overbearing..and controlling. I think she has found comfort once again, in the rush she feels. She may not feel the need to fill that void anymore..and maybe she has just taken back her old boyfriend, and taken back her old habit along with him. That could be. Still, I'm going to make sure she knows I love her, and I care about her. I'm sure she knows, because I always show concern for her, and sometimes she even comes to me, and like a cute little sister says " Ta- I love you. " Then I hug her and tell her I love her too. Every now and then I get a look from some of the other girls, but I don't care. My addiction is love, and since it isn't hurting me or anyone else, I'm feeding it! LOL Love ya 'Lektra ! Sweet dreams, Tara Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: I will pray for her for sure, and heal my own mini addict at the same time.
