Guest guest
Hi Tara, I'm not even talking about a certain thing in this life time, I mean on an even deeper level, within our spirit, a rememberance of a time when we all lived as kundalini activated enlightened beings, and that our soul, due to it's fall from grace, now strives (unconciously) to fill a very old void. You know that people speak of humans " Fall from grace " , well I believe we once all lived as spiritual beings, with the full flow of divine energy, which has now been shut down for thousands of years. In our genetic memory, we still know that we are not living as we are meant to be, there is something missing. I believe drugs artificially gives us the feeling back again of divine connection as when you are on drugs it's similar to some of the K feelings (I speak from experience). Some people seek connection through spirituality, some through drugs (the latter being the short cut, quick fix). This is why I think so many of the new generations get hooked on LSD and exstacy to name but a few. They are missing the divine connection deep in there souls and strive to reconnect. ( a little misguided I'll grant you). Hope this makes sense! Hugs and blessings Elektra x x x _________ Mail is the world's favourite email. Guest guest
I've thought similarly for a long time Elektra. The desire for drugs seem to be from the same yearning as spirituality, just in the wrong direction. The withdrawing from the social activities while doing drugs also seems to parallel withdrawing from some " normal " activities when one does meditation. Both on some level are rejecting what we see externally in order to experience more internally. Actually, in reading, my first impression of the K was the same. Some aspects of bliss are drug related, but from " natural " drugs (even though I'm sure that other aspects of bliss far transcend physical feelings and emotions). I think the main issue with taking drugs is that they are not mentally controllable, and therefore self limiting. For this reason, you a) cannot control possible addictions, and b) cannot progress very far spiritually. Blessings...
