Hello everyone! This word kept coming to me as I slept last night,

as something relevant to the group somehow. So, is it a name or

misspelling that anyone recognizes? At first I suspected it was an

unfamiliar vegetable listed in the safeties, but it seems not,

that's " jicama " .

Second guess after googling is still along those lines: a narikel is

a rare and magical coconut! The " Tantra Maharnav " says...

" Ekakshi Nariyal is powerful enough to remove all problems related to

Entities ( Ghosts) and it removes all the health problems. An ekakshi

Narikel which is worshipped with proper methods bestows supernatural

powers and wealth on the native.

One has to write proper Beejakshars on this coconut to envoke it. One

should offer Ganga water to the coconuts. Then a misture of Pure Ghee

and Vermillion is apllied on coconut. One should tie the coconut with

a " Nagasutra " or " Mouli " . After this a pooja is performed with

incence and Guggle.

A recitation of Gayatri Beeja Mantra and Astha Beejakshar Mantra of

Shreefal is performed. The pooja and recitation of these Beejakshara

envokes the power inside this narikel. This pooja on a Deepawai day

leads to riches and power. "

Sounds like I'm off on a wild coconut chase then, unless anyone knows

better!

Tom
