Guest guest
Chrism: Well, you could say I have surrendered " Christianity' in the fact I have not exactly been the standard robot -Since I can remember I questioned some of the dogma (I don't know if that counts). But, I am a man of honor--I'd rather not say goodbye to Christ, no more than I'd trade my wife and family for what seemed " more attractive " . Sorry! I'm a loyalist! I personally don't see much difference in all religious beliefs; just change some labels and they are basically the same. We are here to help one another without total self absorption. Ego can be called 'sin'. Sin is " missing the mark " . Surrender is evidently so similar to the Salvation experience, I personally don't see much difference. I have no problem with what anyone says about God. I feel we are all (the nice folks are) seeking God in our own way. I gave up all of the selfishness I could without destroying my marriage and family. That seems as far as I would like to go. If nothing drastic would change in my life (my inner being and my understanding of it)---I would be happy to live the next 100 years or more just as I am. I'm NOT conceited---just rather happy! Christ had no wife or kids, he chose us all as family. I honor Christ, but I do have limitations that I'm not ashamed of. I can bet you that I will surrender everything the instant I die! I'm not in a rush to die: just not afraid anymore. I will miss this earth, but for whatever reason I was allowed to see a glimpse of what's waiting, so I'm not afraid, and I feel things will go on just fine post -mortem. Believe me friend, I'm not contesting you! I just feel much better being honest. I never was good at " pretending " . So... If I'm not worthy of your time with my attitude, let me know! I'm always in gratitude of the marvelous things you have shared with me and done for me! You have been a rather nice " tool of God " ---I do not regret one moment! Sincerely, Your friend, Stephen C. - Sunday, July 01, 2007 7:01 PM Re: Demonstrate your Surrender - Master Condrey Yes Master Condrey even your faith. Your faith is a construct of the egotistic orchestrations of what it is to survive here in and on this world in this reality (sans the inter and over laps of others). All faiths are this way until there is a change of the magnitude of the Kundalini. Not forcing anything here Stephen, but surrendering is part of the process and it is of everything, nothing is excluded. But one may need to have certain understandings before one can make this part of the journey. If you follow the Christian example did not the Christ sacrifice and surrender that others may be served? Is there no place in the book of Christians where the sacrifice is total and complete? (Abraham and his son come to mind) Look deeply into your chosen faith for there are examples and echoes of this part of the Kundalini journey there. You are correct it is not about cars and food. Or my being a mercenary (lol). It is about opening up completely without constraint everything you hold within you. Within your body, mind and soul. All of your ego oriented decisions and concerns and accomplishments. Remember the Christian name for the Kundalini is the " Fire of Christ " Yet even the Christian belief system needs to be washed in this fire before it can be discerned what this " Fire of Christ " or Kundalini really is and how it can fully appreciate you. And I do mean " IT " appreciating you. This is about surrendering everything, leaving nothing out. This is about taking that leap and fostering that inner wellspring of courage. It isn't appropriate for me to tell you why and what to expect when you do this. That would rob you of your development. So it is your choice. Stay where you are or go where you can go. This journey does include the option of taking time to smell the flowers or to take a swim in a beautiful clear stream or blue lake.
