Yes, " The DaVinci Code " story.

 

But-If Christ had NO wife, I imagine it was for the same reason other 'Holy

Individuals' don't get married--to focus totally on the pursuit of 'God'.

To surrender to God and turn away from all " Earthly " things. Like I said before,

when I die---I will certainly do that!

I'd rather not do that any time soon.

 

With all respect to religions that believe God is 'Male' or 'Female'...I have

always wondered, Why would God need a Penis OR Vagina?

 

I see " In God's own Image " not as in a certain skin color, or with a sex, but in

the form of pure /Energy/ Spirit/ Joy/Bliss.

 

God as 'Being " . A piece of God in all creation (despite sex, color, species, or

form).

 

This makes me comfortable---especially after the spiritual experience of

Oneness. I felt it and will feel it forever and ever amen.

 

Nobody, take this as an argument! It's just how I feel down to the core of my

being (I'd get thrown out of any Christian cogregation for saying it, and I have

been ostracized by a few dozen). Oh, well!

I do believe that Christ did have a wife, Mary

Magdelain, by law in those days every man had to marry

in the jewish community.

 

Just my belief, they made him out to not be married as

a way to play down the role of the sacred female in

the journey of the christ and to make him out to be

more then human.
