We had a BLAST on our vacation! There was so much to be thankful for!

First and foremost our getting there safely and soundly! Our travels

were so wonderful and so peaceful. On our way to SC we stopped off in

GA for the night staying in Savannah. We went on a Ghost Tour in the

downtown section of Savannah and it was marvelous learning about the

history of the old Savannah and of the souls who still linger where

they died. We took our cameras with us on the tour and caught quite a

bit of orbs on camera! One place we visited out camera wouldn't work.

How cool is that!

After arriving at the lake, a most beautiful sight I might say, we

took the boat out on the water and it was such a peaceful and

wonderful experience! The lake is located in the rolling hills of SC

and the lake is embedded in these hills. We had thunderstorms most

every night and to see the lightening light up the lake was jus

beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect time to go than

when I was going through the Shaktipat! I was heated, heated, heated!

Felt a lot of circulation of energy within me and so the most

beautiful colors of violet and gold while I meditated! My intuition

was quite active as well!

Not only did we have the beauty of nature to be thankful for, but

thankful for God being with us and protecting each one of us! Josh,

my youngest, fell on his skateboard ending up with a hole in his arm

that needed 6 stitches along with a pretty nasty and very long road

burn on the calf of his leg. We were all fortunate that he didn't

hurt his head or break a bone!

I almost drowned! I jumped into the lake and somehow I inhaled water

into my lungs and couldn't breathe in, but cold breath out and of

course I freaked out because I couldn't breath! Finally, I was able

to get the water out of my lungs!

We are also thankful to God and to Jesus Christ for getting us home

safely during a very intense storm! Frank's cousin was staying about

25 to 30 minutes away from us so we went to go eat supper with them,

of course we traveled by water! Anyway, a storm rolled in which

wasn't anything unusual, but this one was bigger with very intense

lightening! It held us at his cousin's campsite until about 10:30

p.m. or so! Finally, it began to pass, but there appeared to be

another one coming so we left and had to ride home in the pouring

rain as it hit us in the face like pellets and lightening striking

nearby on both sides of the lake! As we came close to our cabin I

heard a voice say that we were almost there and would be okay! I felt

a strong sigh of relief and praised God for being with us and

bringing us back to camp safely!

I gave tremendous gratitude for us being able to spend time with our

family! My sister and her kids came, Frank's sister and boyfriend

came, and we spent time with his cousin and his cousin's family all

week and that was great! We fished and caught many! That was

wonderful! We got up with the sun and went out fishing one morning

only to stumble upon an egret hanging in the top of a tree! It

apparently had gotten fishing line caught on him and then when he

went into the tree or flew by it he got caught and he was trying to

get away! I prayed and prayed and then told my husband I wanted to

leave it! I couldn't bear to see it hang from the tree by the line

not being able to free itself! We notified the game warden, but don't

know if it made a difference. Frankly, I don't want to know!

Sometimes I think it is better left unknown. It made me sad, very sad

to see it hanging there with the strong possibilities of dying that

way!

Anyway, we also found a kitten around 6 to 8 weeks old. It was up

under our porch after a major rain storm! I couldn't bear to leave it

behind and so we brought it with us to hopefully find it a home here

in Florida! Say a prayer that we find it a home! My cats aren't very

pleased with the new kitty!

Sam learned to drive the boat and both he and Josh learned to ski and

kneeboard! Me, I learned to let go of the strings and have faith in

Sam to be able to drive the boat! It was hard, very hard, but I

managed to accomplish it!

We had a wonderful time bonding and spending time together! It was

so, so wonderful and give thanks, tremendous thanks and offer my

gratitude to Him for being with us will we spend time together!

Say a prayer for Josh's recovery and for finding a loving home for

the kitten! Until then we have named him " Mr. Shaw " because we found

him at the Shaw AFB Recreation park out in the middle of nowhere!

Hee, hee!

Love you all!

Love,

Katherine

Katherine,

It is nice to have you back with us alive and well. You are a blessing

here. My daughter took many classes in college about taking care of animals.

She suggests to take your favorite scent...whether perfume or lotion...and rub

some on yourself and each of the cats including the kitty. Animals recognize

each other by smell...and should yours smell be there...it is one the older ones

trust and so the integration of the little kitty may go much easier.

Adina,

Thank you so much, it is so wonderful to be back home! I will certainly give

your suggestion a try because as of right now my two cats won't have anything to

do with me! The oldest one hisses and arches her back when ever I even come near

her! Once again thanks! You are a terrific person!

Love,

Katherine
