Guest guest
Hi everyone, Thanks for all of the prayers and healing that you have given to Brennan. It is much appreciated. He is stable, with some regular medication he is now on. As far as I know he hasn't had any seizures since he started the medication. He is doing better in school and has returned to a more normal state. I saw him a few weeks ago though, and he's not quite right yet though. He has low energy levels and just seems to have a sort of slouchy resignation in his body if that makes any sense. Sort of a there, but not there look about him. Like his strength or vigour is just a bit sapped. He is doing much better though. My thanks and appreciation and my sister's and her family's as well. I will share with you any further news on his condition. Thank you so much again. ** My Grandmother Mary Cringan is one of the most stubbornost wonderful women on the planet and is giving her family a heck of a time as they try to help her age gracefully. She fought tooth and nail to keep her driver's licence, but recently had to give that up. She refuses to take taxis now (she's very bitter about losing her licence, but was quite dangerous behind the wheel, she's dangerous with a shopping cart...) and has gotten disoriented a few times walking a mile or so from the house. A long story short, she refuses to see doctors, almost all assistance in any way, cleaning help, considering moving into a home for proper care, etc, etc. Her health is deteriorating. Any healing or prayers for her situation and her children trying to take care of her is much appreciated. I pray that she can have some happiness, health and experience as much love as possible before her transition, for her highest good of course. My thanks and love to you all for your help. My prayers for all of you and your loved ones that need help as well. bradly
Guest guest
Bradly, thanks for the update on Brennan...I will keep him in my prayers and I will add your grandmother, Mary. I can understand how hard it is to all involved when an elderly member has to give up their independence. Hasn't been so long since my family went through that with my mom. It takes a while for all to adjust. Love, Linda , " curball2002 " <curball2002 wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > Thanks for all of the prayers and healing that you have given to > Brennan. Guest guest
Glad to hear Brennan is doing better Brad! I fear that the " there but not there " would probably be a side effect to the medication. As one who has taken all kinds of substances for control of migraines, including anti-seizure meds, I can attest to that. It is a tough thing with your grandma. I remember that when my grandma has macular degeneration and was considered legally blind, she became so angry and bitter that she refused all pleasures that before had to do with eyesight. She was sent free books on tape by the society for the blind and refused to even touch them. The taking of independene in one who is already in the upper reaches of their life is very devastating. I recall when I was in the rehab after my accident with two broken shoulders and had to be bathed and fed. It was so degrading, even though I knew it was temporary. I gained a new respect for the sick and elderly during that experience. Best wishes and prayers to you and the family.
