Hi all,

 

I find the exact foster child situation I had wanted has been

manifested and, although I am still reading all posts and responding

a bit, I am more focused on holding the space for healing here in my

home.

 

My little 12 year old girl was hosptilized after she assalted me and

is now back, with new meds. I somehow, through the grace of God, also

have a 16 year old boy, very, very disturbed, living here and hope to

keep him until he is an adult. He mostly focuses his anger inward

but has done major property distruction and also cuts and makes many

suicide attempts so he takes a lot of my attention and awareness as I

get to know him. I also have two 18 year olds who are doing very

well and will soon be out in the world.

 

My intention is to work (full time with disturbed developmentally

disabled adults) and raise these younger 2 kids which really will

take all the abilities I have been gifted with over the years.

 

My brother is now fine and married....great to see after 10 years of

difficulties on his part. And I have started seeing a man who I was

very close to 2 years ago.

 

My hip may need a replacement but that is good that I may have a way

out of this chronic pain. And I will soon be 62.

 

So if I am a little less visiable on this site it is because I am

focusing more on these 2 deserving kids right now.
