03 - Shekhinah Shakti.mp3 ( 8858 KB )

From the CD:

Rabbi Leah writes: " Shekhinah or Divine Presence is the feminine

aspect of God, in Jewish mystical tradition. The term Shekhinah

literally means 'in dwelling' and represents the imminent deity that

lives within all of us - all life forms derive Spirit from Her. " In

this piece, I have called upon Spirit - Shekhinah, Fire - Shakti,

Earth - Gaia, and Yemaya - the Sea, to dance with us in the fullness

of Life!

Words:

Spirit, fire Earth and Sea

Keepers of the Mystery

Spirit Fire Earth and Sea

Open my Heart and enter me

Spirit Fire Earth and Sea (repeat)

Chorus: Shekhinah, Shakti, Gaia, Yemaya

Lavanah Sister Moon

Shekhinah of the Night

Calls to the Sea, beloved dance with me

The motion of the ocean (x3) is Life, is Life

Chorus

Rauch Sister wind

Shekhinah of the Sky

Calls the willow tree, beloved sing with me

the music of the motion (x)

the motion of the ocean, is Life, is Life

Chorus

Shekhinah dance dance dance

I caught a glimpse of freedom

Shekhinah dance

I caught a glimpse of the truth

Shekhinah dance, let illusion fall away

Shekhinah dance, let me see you

Let me see.....(repeat)

Chorus
