Guest guest
Hyper flaring of the individual nostril or both is another common but not often mentioned symptom of the Kundalini. Also a location inside the upper lip of either nostril about 1/8 of an inch in and up or about 4 centimeters where both Ida and Pingala terminate can become inflamed and sore as if it is infected. It isn't. It is a symptom of strong energetic infusion along this system. It can occur at both sides of the nose or one or the other. Typically with sustained prana yama practice or the compression and alternate nostril breathing techniques. The hyper flaring is normal please do not resist this let it be as it needs to be. The sore terminus point will cause one to reach into the nasal membrane but do your best to leave it alone. -
Guest guest
Hello Chrism, I often get glowing tickles that start a fraction of an inch above each side of the base of the nose, though my impression is that they form more on the outer edge of my nose rather than inner. Once they start, they soon flow down to my chin in very warming curves that I sometimes perceive as waxy red, steering a route half an inch or so clear of my mouth on either side. It's pleasant, but the tickliness can get so intense that the urge to rub my face becomes irresistable. Should I be trying to resist harder, or is this " nose only " advice? I'm not sure if this is the same thing or not. A couple of times recently also I've had something that feels similar but more intense still, starting just under my ears and dropping vertically beneath them. Guest guest
Don't resist at all Tom. Allow it and welcome it and let it tickle you. The Kundalini will have effect on every aspect of the Human physical system. I can give outlines based upon my experience but you are unique and your infusion will be specific to you but will also share certain responses as we are both human. The myriad of response that can be experienced will be determined by what you bring to the table in regards to your spiritual/physical evolution. So yes go with what is occurring. Your Kundalini will engineer your physical tactile experience. The nadis that are being activated on your face are infusing with Kundalini. They will continue to do so and this infusion will step down into the nervous system allowing you to " feel " as you have been experiencing. Your upper and lower lips may be next affected and you can expect a compulsion for am automatic " pursing " of the lips to occur if this is the direction taken. No resistance is needed. Acceptance and gratitude are the best protocols in your situation at this point. imho. -
Guest guest
Thank you for the advice! Is it possible for one to have these chakras always open?
Guest guest
Yes for a time. Certainly during early Kundalini and perhaps more so after. It is automatic and will do as your Kundalini and situation dictate. - blessings and welcome - chrism
Guest guest
Is nadis the same thing or similar to a chakra? I had the sore nose thing to happen this past week. The first day it was my left nostril and the next day it was my right nostril. Also, the same thing happened with my ears. Just inside my ear it got real sore the left side the same day as the left nostril and the next the same day as the right nostril. My ears got so sore for the day I could not use my ipod in that side that was sore. Yesterday I woke up with my throat sore for the day and my tongue is sore on both sides. The sore tongue is still there today. I went out and did some yard work this morning, thought maybe that would help and I guess it did somewhat. It is not quite as sore tonight. Yesterday when I woke up with the sore throat and tongue, I had been doing a lot of these breathing technigues one this website I found. I know some of them must had an affect on K because I got very warm afterwards. Hehe! Silly me, I did everyone of the breathing exercises as I read. http://www.angelfire.com/trek/chucheeshouse/dgw/mind/breath.html Another thing I would like to ask about? All during Shaktipat, I had lots of energy to do all three set of the Tibetans, but since Scatterfield was re-drawn, it is all I can do to muster up enough energy to do one set. Chrism, was all that energy I had those couple of weeks or so coming from you and this energyless person the normal me? After just 30 minutes or so of working in the yard yesterday and this morning, I felt totally drained. There was a time when I could work in the yard all day and not get so tired.
