It's been an interesting evening. I went out tonight to say goodbye

to a friend leaving for China. During the two hours I was in a bar

(which I had orange juice in by the way hehe) my scooter was stolen.

Though it only cost me about $600 last year, since then I put about

$700 into it fixing it up and whatnot. Ironically, last week I spent

about $250 fixing a problem with all the bearings and axle. Then just

this Thursday I finally changed most of the engine for another $200

to give me enough ooommpphh to go up the hills around the city,

especially the one I live on. Now some young little punk is enjoying

all the work and expense I put into it. Sigh... And my two new

helmets, my old beat up rain suit, and even my silly golf gloves I

used to drive with are gone.

I'm not really angry. I laugh a little, then I sigh. Then I want to

cry a little, not sure if I will or not. More I end up taking some

deep breaths and just surrendering to it all. I'm sure there's a

reason behind it all. Did I lower my vibration to allow this

experience in? Is it a lesson in some form? Hmmm... Hate to use the

word, but a bit of karma or balancing in action?

Anyway, I do need a scooter for transportation. I'm very far from the

subway, up a big hill, and I work in so many locations around the

city. (Seoul) I will do my best tomorrow to scrounge up all my

resources to get another bike. Hopefully I can take care of it all

tomorrow and be ready for work on Monday. Luckily, I was going to get

a new computer, since this laptop has an irreplacable fan that stops

all the time, and I have the money for that. The computer can wait...

I've lost money almost meaninglessly before this and it doesn't seem

to phase me. It's more of a minor annoyance like a flat tire, and

then you just decide " Well it's not going to change itself " and you

put yourself into action.

What does strike me though is how surprised I am sometimes at how

some others can still go about so selfishly without considering the

effect of their actions on others. I think I will try even harder to

go out of my way to help others whenever I can. This is what the

world needs hmm?

Any thoughts welcome!

temporarily scooterless but wishing you peace,

Ouch! I am sorry that this has occurred for you my friend. Somewhere

a balancing is taking place whether it is easily discerned or not.

Your ability to let it go and not harbor a hurtful response is going

to be better for you in the long run and even though this may not

releive the pain of the theft perhaps it will allow another door for

you to be opened in another area of your life.

Be available for that to happen Bradly. See if you can remember this

action and how it has effect upon all your actions after its

inception. And how you were open to receive because of it and see

what comes your way.

We live in a diverse plane of intermixing personalities in different

areas and stages of evolution. This is how this kind of action can

occur. The person who took the bike will have to pay for it in some

way in some time.

You are doing well to go forward as you are! - Congratulations

Bradly! -

Thanks for your words. I just feel a little numb today. I

thank that chap and the universe for the opportunity to practice

moving forward nongrudgingly! Next time though, he is welcome to

steal my socks or underwear or something more easily replaced. Lol.

Certainly I can take a better look at my life and appreciate things

more that would be difficult to accept if they were gone.

I'm all for open doors! I will move forward as positively as I can.

Ha, I feel like my cat died. Ouch.

Peace be with you and thanks again,

So sorry to hear this Bradly! I know it isn't easy, but you are

taking the right attitude towards this. Maybe there is a very good

reason why the scooter was taken from you. Perhaps something vital

was about to fail and might cause you some harm and now someone else

will be learning a lesson in Karma first hand. Maybe this lesson

will turn that person around in some way. It all works and builds on

one thing from another.
