Guest guest
I'm baaack... Checking old e-mails. On vacation--July 11th-- Started off as a beautiful day at the beach, then that afternoon around 5-6pm a tornadatic wind swept through the camp ground and tore off quite a few awnings on campers and motorhomes. Mine too! Margaret and I had about 30 seconds of dangerous action trying to rescue the awning while avoiding lightning! This is a common occurence for experienced RV campers. The storms come in fast. It was hot and sunny. We decided to shut the blinds as we ate supper indoors. A half hour later we opened the blinds and it looked like a tornado was coming! A couple did in the area... Kind of like sailing a small craft on the ocean in these RV's. Ya never know! :) SC , " Sarita " <sarita1969 wrote: > > Me too. Stephen is away until the 17th I think. Guest guest
Welcome back Master K! We missed your charm and humor around here. So glad that everything worked out with your mishap. Did you have a good time? I'm still catching up with messages too. Not so many on here, but I am buried over at the dream group! I found something that might interest you very much (it sure interested me!) I will email you later. Welcome back, big hug! Guest guest
wow Stephen, you averted danger once again! I'm glad you are safe and sound. And gets me thinking, how would any of us know if another member had past one? I was wondering one day, what if I died, how would any of you know? Anyhow, I'm happy to have you back in here! ---- Stephen AKA Master Condrey <stephencondrey wrote: > I'm baaack... > Checking old e-mails. > > On vacation--July 11th-- > Started off as a beautiful day at the beach, then that afternoon > around 5-6pm a tornadatic wind swept through the camp ground and tore > off quite a few awnings on campers and motorhomes.
