Guest guest
Some people want so desperately to be unique as our society squashes uniqueness in a sea of uniformity that the soul must declare enough is enough and form unique qualities of its own regardless of the pervasive armies of lock stepped mediocrity. Some folks " become " channels for " star people. " Many are not the real thing and yet some are. From the " Seth Material " to " Messages from Micheal " to " Ramtha " and Alice Bailey's Tibetan guy Djwal Khul. Many come cloaked as ascended masters or star people or great personages from our past. And why are they always so great? I'm sure SOME Shepherd's or shopkeepers or ditch diggers activated the kundalini and were able to ascend but they never seem to make it through... there was a carpenter though..hmmm..imagine that.....so let us be clear the ego does seem to have a stake in some of these deliveries of wisdom. Edgar Cayce seemed to be the real deal. imho. Not alot of extravagance there. 90% of channellings imho are complete fabrications. Of discarnate spirit and of Star people. Those that say they are channeling Christ or Mary or Lord Krishna and his lovely wife need to put up some pretty solid proof of this or I'm not buying it. I can just ask and find out for myself. I ask them to send me this " holy deity. " " Please send me your greatness tonight that we can have a chat. " It almost never happens. I'm not initiated or my faith isn't strong or any number of excuses. Let us remember something here. For every person who is a lying, duplicitous person there are a million discarnates just as expressive of these qualities. Because they are dead or not in a body does not assure their integrity. If you believe anyone who struts into your dreams proclaiming Christhood, then your setting yourself up for a fall. And those you tell their half truths too. This isn't all of them just most of them. Your scrutiny and discernment are most important here as for true enlightenment it is up to you to do the hard work. No entity will wave a wand over your big toe and " bestow upon thee thine everlasting brilliance. " Except me of course. (heh!)But my wand is in the shop. And the rental i have just doesnt get it right! lol. And I typically target the coccyx. People get nervous when they see me with a wand. LOL. Then there is the practice.......By their fruits shall you know them is a good filter. I go with that. - blessings to all here and there - chrism
Guest guest
Thank you, Chrism, for these lovely pearls (including the 2 previous to this message) and your humorous take on many things! I don't know what we'd do if we couldn't make light of some of these things (Stephen M.C. is another great asset). They seemed to make my flame burst into energy. Of late, it's been on low flame. I can probably guess why. Nice to be here again and feel the energy, which I certainly do. I had forgotten the thing about the halo being with the golden helmet and that it was a physical manifestion. I had the brief experience of the golden helmet on the 17th with the FTG meditation. It felt hot and tight. I could draw a line just above my eyebrows to the hair line this side of my ears and down and under my ears. My first time to feel that! I was amazed and grateful. I didn't realize what I was doing as that happened! So my surroundings as well as the peeople who came in contact with me probably felt this at some level and were touched by it? That is encouraging if true. It is nearer yet to my goal of being a healing influence. Even better if I can do it without even thinking about it, it just IS. So far for me, this has been a very exciting journey. I consider myself lucky that the only negatives I've had so far are irritability (sometimes a bit intense) and a few headaches. On the other hand this could be early menopause, too. LOL Thanks again for being there for us and keeping the information flowing. I am such an info junkie! Guest guest
Ah yes, that is it in a nutshell - By their fruits you shall know them. I have found in my experience that those who TOOT! the loudest and proclaim greatness - are not. And those who are meek and wave things off are the true gems. The ego is such an ugly beast. If there is no fruit on the tree... Guest guest
So true, Sarita. Another aspect of this, that has been a major lesson for me on the Christian path, is that once one " toots, " what they receive for that toot is all the reward they will get. Like, " Wow, you're such a good person! " The ego loves that kind of thing, and that's the extent of the reward. But if one doesn't toot, and seeks no outer recognition or admiration for what one does, then there is a deeper reward that comes...a more lasting and greater reward. Praise may come in this case, but it is not sought and that makes all the difference. Guest guest
absolutely Dhyana! I think when the ego gets involved we are accumulating some karmic debt even if we are doing a good deed. The reasons behind it should be to do good for others, not so people can slap us on the back. In Christian circles I have traveled, there have been people who say " I got X number of people saved this week! " No, they didn't " save " anyone, Jesus did. They are actually taking credit though. The hypocrisy is one of the main reasons I no longer frequent church! Guest guest
Yes. I feel that hypocrisy comes from a lack of understanding. Its not the fault of the congregation so much as the lack of spiritual life and teaching of what Christ revealed. Instead of discipleship, its a social club, so what can one expect? Not the case in all churches... We are told to love God with all our being...ego and mind included. When the ego loves God, all that comes through to help others is recognized as Grace, and the work of God in the world. Its not ego doing the work. Ego serves in love as God is revealed more and more through the personality. So when we stop seeking our rewards on the earth, they are stored in the spiritual realm where they can't be stolen away, or " rust. " Its just recognizing the smarter thing to do! imho Love, dhyana , " Sarita " <sarita1969 wrote: > > absolutely Dhyana!
