I'm not sure what is going on. Things have been strangely showing up

on my computer withotu explanation the past few days. Sometimes I

think of something and it appears on my browser without me typing

anything in?! Such as this message from 2005 from Sel. I don't know

how or why it showed up, but it must be for a reason so I decided to

dredge up the thread. Maybe there is someone who needs to read this.

How interesting Sarita! Maybe because there isn't as much action as usual?

Rather bizarre, yet pretty cool! Hee, hee! There is definitely someone trying to

tell someone something.

Wow! This is weird, I have just recently read this and thought she

had just recently posted that. But when the forum was slow I did go

to some older thread and read there, so maybe that is where I read

it. I can't remember, but I have recently read this, about a couple

of weeks ago.

Interesting. I just got an email dated July 26 to attend 2 Saturday

classes on Reiki. I wasn't very familiar with this so I searched it

and then I read this message. Also my dog is very sick and could use

a healing, I think I will sign up.

This is bizarre--I promise I didn't re-send this old, rambling message

of mine. In fact, a while ago I even thought I should remove it from

the list.

Sorry for the long silence. Have been traveling for the last couple of

weeks.

Hello Sel! Glad you are back among us. I have no idea why your old

message showed up on my computer suddenly, but I figured maybe there

was someone who needed to see the info in it and felt I should post

the message.

Hello Everyone

I am new to this group and not quite sure how it works yet, but this

posting resonates with me so I wanted to respond.

I had an experience 7 years ago that slowly faded from my memory but

was recently remembered strongly when I was going through old

journals. A man I had been very close to died at that time. He had

been studying kundalini meditation and had brought me to meet his

teacher but I did not take up the practice at that time. 9 days

after his passing, I was meditating by candle light, trying to find

some sort of peace. As I sat there meditating and talking to him, I

felt the candle light seemed to grow more brilliant and turned into

a ray of light that grew away from the candle and pointed directly

at me. All around the light were random, psychedelic patterns of

light that were moving and changing. It felt like the light was the

spirit of my friend. I picked up the candle and moved to face a

mirror across the room. The brilliant light surrounded my reflection

in the mirror, almost obscuring it. All I could see was my face (it

was a full length mirror). As I stared at my face, it seemed to

almost morph and then I saw the face of my friend. I said my

goodbyes to him, waved with my hand and placed my hand on my heart.

At that moment, I felt a surge of energy go through my body like

nothing I have ever felt before. It was powerful and went from my

head to my toes. It was more exhilarating than anything I have ever

felt. I felt intense love at that moment and I knew his spirit was

moving through me, saying goodbye and helping me to rid myself of my

sadness and be at peace. Words do not do justice to the feeling I

felt. After this moment, the CD I had been playing in the room

stopped without me touching the CD player, as if on cue. The

brilliant white light was gone.

I recently met with a man who had been the best friend of this

person and told him this story. He told me that he had experienced

something similar with a bright white light and a surge of energy

going through his body after the passing too. He had never told

anyone because he thought people would think he was crazy. I think a

part of me has tried to downplay what had happened or believe that

maybe I imagined it. When I heard the best friend tell me he had

experienced almost the exact same thing, I knew it to have been a

real, deep experience. Now, 7 years later, I want to study

kundalini. I was not ready at the time my friend introduced me to

his teacher, but now I am. I do not even wholey understand what the

study entails but I look forward to learning more.

That is what has brought me here. It is this older posting that made

me feel comfortable sharing my experience with you. Thank you.

What an inspirational experience! I'm so glad you shared that with

us. It may have taken you a while to reach here, but the seeds were

planted way back then. I have been dancing around Kundalini since I

was 19 years old and it was not until I was 36 that I finally got

here.

I'm so glad I posted that message and didn't ignore it! Looking

forward to hearing more from you as you begin to experience more of

this.

Welcome chanteuse67! Thank you for sharing your experience... it

sounds very moving, you described it so beautifully. I see those

strangely radiating inward and outward, somewhat psychedelic rays of

colored light around all bright lights, even the sun. It's as if to

remind me of the infinite light we all share... love & light ~Jen~

Hi .--- chanteuse67 I have meditated into a mirror, eye

to eye by candlelight. I have seen my face morph [change]

into dozens and dozens of other faces. At first I thought

they were my past lives, and some may have been.

With time, I sort of figured that they were life forms of

some sort. Many were human and many were not human or so

it seemed. In fact, some of the faces looked very alien.

Also, when I do eye to eye meditation with human beings, I

see their face morph or change into many other faces or

beings. Also, they see my face morph or change into many

other forms or faces, some of which are not human.

Also, sometimes when I am just talking to a person, I see

their face morph or changes into another face/being.

I suspect this means that there is another entity in that

person.
