Where are you going with this Henry? Is it the Glassolalia

phenomena or the phenomana of " rules " you are addressing? Or both. Do

you see a relationship between them? And are you relating the

phenomena of tongues to the Kundalini? Or the spiritual elite not

needing rules? Or the masses not paying attention to rules? Your use

of fiction as an example to support your idea that " tongues " are bad?

Or that the phenomena of those not connected to a belief system

partake of them is a question for you? The ignorance of churches to

explain your what? Dissatisfaction? Are you venting here Henry? Whats

up? -

Hi, true, perhaps I covered too much in one e-mail.

But From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Exorcist

Quote " Both the film and novel took inspirations from a

documented exorcism in 1949, performed on a 12 year old

boy. " end quote.

There was a documented exorcism of a 12 year old boy.--in

the non-friction world. True, movie made up special

effects but I read the book. Speaking in a language that

the person did not learn in the normal way is a documented

event of possession.

I did not say " tongues " are bad. I did say or suggest that

all tongues do not come from the Holy Spirit.

I did suggest that tongues can come from many other sources

than the Holy Spirit.

Jesus cast out Demons. I infer from this that there are

demons. Some of Jesus Christ's Disciples cast out Demons,

as in recorded in the bible.

A Demon can speak its own tongue or language thru a human

being and this would be considered speaking in tongues but

not a tongue of the holy spirit.

I have listened to stories by christian Exorcists about

how they do exorcisms.

Catholic church still has Exorcists I do believe. Why?

One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is the discerning of

spirits. see 1 Corinthians 12:1-11

I infer from this that there are other spirits than the

Holy Spirit.

There was a discussion about how different churches make up

rules about speaking in tongues.

I just suggested that one study what Paul taught about

speaking in tongues. I Corinthians chapters 12, 13, and 14

cover the spiritual gifts and how they are to be used in

the church. What wrong with that?
