Guest guest
Are you saying that members of this group will be able to offer Shaktipat to others? Can you give us a little more detail? Guest guest
Eventually yes Sarita you will but with in certain guidelines. This message is directed to those of other lineages who may wish to " show their power " by initiating a Shaktipat experience without telling the person they are doing this to, that is being done. Inappropriate and irresponsible imho. Kind of like exposing a person to radiation without saying so. Or an illness that they - the giver - believes is a great thing but may not be so great to those who get it unknowingly. There are active people here on this list and you are one of them Sarita. My concern is about the strings that can be attached to such an event. The entities involved. The system being used. The consent or not of the person receiving it. The illness and hurt that can be given. Is this consent informed? Does the person initiating a Shaktipat have a track record of giving a positive experience without " any " strings or issues attached? If problems occur are they able or responsible enough to give an effective follow up? Are they charging for this? Are they themselves the student of a teacher that will personally help if the problem goes beyond the skill of the student?? And I mean personally. Where are the safety measures? If any. These are important issues and questions and I will expect them to be answered by the person(s) who do this. - chrism
Guest guest
I am appalled that someone would activate someone without their permission! That would be tromping all over someone else's free will. Not to mention, the symptoms the unwitting person might have. If someone had done such a thing to me it would have been horrific. As it is, I have needed special attention since the beginning due to my health issues. What are the ramifications to the person who is doing this to others without their permission? Surely there are consequences. Sarita , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Eventually yes Sarita you will but with in certain guidelines. Guest guest
I agree with you Sarita! I wouldn't do it because it isn't right and I certainly wouldn't want someone doing it to me unless I gave them permission and I held a trust with that person! If I am correct, can't one get too much or react to a shaktipat? That would be my fear because I wouldn't know how to correct it! And then I would be petrified that something might happen to that person. Anyway, just mhi. Love ya guys! Guest guest
Depends on many other issues like karma and their real intent. The ramification for their continued presence here is very clear though. They know that I know and this may be enough. Thats why I am giving fair warning. And I encourage all who have been or are ever contacted by a person offering this " Shaktipat " free or charging money for it or suggesting it in the guise of a healing to make it known here or to write me personally. But do not send pictures or agree to anything unless you are clear with what is being offered -
Guest guest
Well, that's kind of a scarey thing. I did not realize it could be done without a person permission. Looks like there would be some spiritual law that would prevent that from happening. I guess that is another good reason why each day one should start/end their day with a prayer of protection. Guest guest
There are many ways to acheive a permission. Sending a pic can be perceived that way at times. - chrism
Guest guest
One hopes that another develops the skills necessary to give a Shaktipat slowly and smoothly with the attending understanding of the huge responsibility that goes with both giving a Shaktipat as well as the responsibility one incurs in other developing skills. Spiritual morality, full understanding of each stage, with the negative possibilities inherent (both for the person sending and receiving) in throwing this stuff around and huge, huge respect for the process and need for getting permission seem absolutely necessary. Guest guest
Chrism, where were you some 36 years ago? That would have been some well-needed advice back then. I would like to express that your words have profound meaning and ramifications and if possible to explain further. Sarita, there may be people that may not know what they are doing or the extent of what and how their actions effect life. I was young and completely (well not completely, I was never that void of understanding) unknowledgeable of the extent of my actions. Are you appalled with me, or the actions I say I had in the past? If your are I understand but I only mention this as there are young people out there that have an ability of doing this naturally. Jim Jones was mentioned, I never knew him so I can't say for sure he had this ability naturally but I have met some that have had. So what does one do when they know that another has this ability and not the knowledge to control or responsibly use their abilities? Yes there are consequences but all actions have consequences and to the best of my knowledge no one that I was involved with had any horrific experiences some may have been strange but nothing ever frightening or more than they could handle, or so I thought at that time. One that I was involved with found me after years of being separated and told me it took two years of deprogramming to get me out of her system. I am not referring just to a love affair but the mental control. Like has said: This > message is directed to those of other lineages who may wish to " show > their power " by initiating a Shaktipat experience without telling > the person they are doing this to, that is being done. Inappropriate and irresponsible imho. I second what he has said and will testify as to it being inappropriate and immoral. Honestly!
Guest guest
Hey Chrism, I would like to clarify this too... (I posted this on the K healing site too.) There is no danger in giving an unwanted shaktipat or activation if we are simply offering prayer or distance healing is there? Especially with low or no flow at this point? To offer a shaktipat, we would have to have some intention of doing something other than healing wouldn't we? Is it wrong to pray, send energy or heal a situation or person we don't have permission to? For example the person who stole my scooter... Or someone who wrongs us, should we just forgive as best we can and move on, or is it okay to send more love or healing their way? Is that violating their free will? Also as our flow increases, would we have more ability to offer this (a shaktipat of some sort)? But also would we have a corresponding knowledge of how to avoid this? So we wouldn't accidentally give someone a spontaneous activation? Lol, sorry for all the questions! If you deem it's unecessary to know all these stuff at this point I'll be patient and wait! Thanks, bradly And as for friends and loved ones around us, especially immediate family, it may be unavoidable in some cases, their activation? First why say such a thing? True it's wrong to send the power or to awaken some one with out their permission, but to block or refuse to answer questions and explain powers as a fault is also wrong. Plus to bring about fear and false beliefs are equally wrong. This is why many do not go to churches with these things that are talk about here, out of fear of being rejected from ones peers. This gift is a force or power or what ever titles one wish to give, is within our self's. It's not ours alone but belongs to everyone as it lives in all living things and is the true nature of love and is the pure start of our own existence. I also have issues about people taking money to but it's theirs to bare not mine. There is no need for anyone to experience pain or stress. The truth can only come from the highest source and frees ones ideas and beliefs and prejudices much as that of a young child. They are for all people who are searching for meaning to existence, purpose in their lives, strength to face the daily struggle to live and endure hardship, sickness, despair, of everyday life.
